We appointed David Clarke at Biscoes, Portsmouth, last June to deal with the conveyancing of the sale of our late Father’s Estate. Sarah recently supported us with the purchase of an auction property. We found her to be professional and very efficient. From the initial friendly courtesy call to the final completion emails, we were supported and advised appropriately in a timely manner. Laura has already come recommended by our agent and we discovered over a five month period this was for good reason. Aside from the highly efficient admin led by her colleague Stephanie, the key moment in Laura's support as the solicitor overseeing our house sale came with just four weeks to go when our buyer decided to state that our deeds were incorrect and that a fence should be moved. In the following highly stressful weeks that followed, we could have caved in and indeed at a couple of points we were discussing with Laura what we could offer. The buyer's solicitor was also incredibly unhelpful. Laura resiliently stood her ground and repeated again and again that our papers were in order. She dug in and at times was as firm with us as she was with the buyer. We were able to develop a really close relationship with Laura, using humour at appropriate times to remind ourselves of how ridiculous the buyer was being. In the end, we made the decision to withdraw from the sale as we reminded ourselves how lovely our house is and how, at times, it's important to stand firm and 'resist the ridiculous'. We cannot recommend Laura highly enough, both for her legal confidence but also for her personal touch. She really is a gem.

It was a pleasure to have taya be are solicitor, she was very helpful and made sure everything was explained in way to ensure it was all understandable for everyone.
