Jamie represented me in my gross misconduct case, and I cannot thank him enough for the support and advice he provided throughout the entire process. He knew my case inside and out and ensured that he was there for me every step of the way. He gave me excellent advice and also supported me throughout the criminal court process, advising me on the barrister and keeping me fully informed at every stage. One of the most important parts of my case was that Jamie ensured the criminal case was dismissed at the pre-trial hearing at Crown Court. He also ensured that my gross misconduct hearing was reduced to a misconduct hearing. Jamie and his firm have provided one of the best services I could have asked for. His knowledge, professionalism, dedication and support throughout the entire process have been priceless. I cannot recommend Jamie and his firm highly enough, and I will always be grateful for everything he has done for me.

I was appointed a legal aid duty solicitor. Sarah Margiotta turned up at the police station. This was my first time in this situation. From the get go Sarah looked and acted like she had been pulled out of her sleep was rude, arrogant and unhelpful. Very adversarial and made it clear she was on duty during the early hours and had other people to see and didn't have time for me. My gut told me she was not in a happy place so I elected to call an alternative legal aid duty solicitor who was a breath of fresh air and provided very clear, succinct advice and support which was polar opposites to Sarah's advice. Thanks goodness I change from Sarah.

If it wasn’t for Clair at straw and Pearce I wouldn’t have been able to get through the most difficult part of life. Clair is a very understanding, caring and thoughtful solicitor that guided me through my whole process. Katie and her colleagues have provided a 5 star service in conveyancing 3 properties following the death of a close relative. Katie's perseverance was unswerving in the latter stages of completion and notably far better than the buyer's conveyancing solicitor. Rates were very reasonable and I would have no hesitation in both recommending or using Straw & Pearce again.
The team at straw and pearce handled our sale and purchase. They were diligent professional and incredibly knowledgeable helpful and communicative. Excellent value for money giving us peace of mind with a challenging purchaser.
