I have used both Lilly and Jakes teams at Leathes Prior and both have been very efficient and most importantly very timely and quick at responding to my emails and getting the mortages completed - Ive had other solicitors not reply for days or just go awol - these guys its never a worry

Anna Jordan and her team were exceptional throughout the sale process, including managing my aborted purchase and securing the completion on my new build. Her professionalism is outstanding; she provided thorough, clear advice on complex legal documents, searches, and mortgage issues. Her communication was prompt and proactive—she constantly chased the unresponsive third-party solicitors and management companies on my behalf, even involving the estate agent to push matters forward. Leathes Prior have been my go to law firm for a number of years since meeting one of their solicitors at a Brown & Co property auction in Norwich. Over the subsequent 8 years or so, they have produced a number of commercial leases for me and assisted with property transactions. I'd like to thank Rachael Hughes and her secretary, Angela Chalmers, for the way they handled the recent sales of my two properties. I was very impressed with their professionalism. Sometimes the path was not as smooth as it could have been, for reasons out of their control, but, nonetheless, everything was conducted and concluded in a very professional manner, and I hope to use their services again in the near future.

Leathes Prior acted for us on the sale of our company and were fantastic throughout. Alex Saunders and his team made a stressful process so much easier, with clear communication and invaluable advice. Thank you.
Extremely disappointing experience. We instructed Leathes Prior in connection with a significant commercial lease and nursery development. We subsequently found ourselves exposed to substantial costs associated with the condition of the property. To be clear, my criticism is not that a solicitor should have discovered structural defects. My concern is that we entered into a full repairing lease without a Schedule of Condition and I do not believe the potentially significant financial consequences of taking on responsibility for pre-existing disrepair were explained to us clearly enough before we committed. I raised these concerns formally with the firm and received their final complaint response rejecting the complaint. Having reviewed that response and the underlying correspondence, I remain deeply dissatisfied. For a transaction involving a substantial investment and a long-term lease, I expected advice that clearly translated the legal wording into the commercial and financial risks we were actually assuming. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I could not recommend Leathes Prior for this type of transaction.
Emily and Trish were fantastic when acting on behalf of one of of my sellers. It is always a pleasure to work alongside responsive and sensible solicitors. Leathers Prior helped to get this transaction to a successful conclusion despite the inefficiency of the buyers solicitor. Thank you and I will be recommending.
