How lucky was I to be recommended Leathes Prior by a friend when I told them I needed legal help to complete probate on my mother's estate. Ejike was assigned to manage the probate application; he was immensely supportive, extremely professional, patient, and kept me me informed during a long process drawn out by the lack of co-operation by the other executor and their solicitor. It was reassuring to have someone as a sounding board making the right decisions and calming my concerns. I thought the costs were more than reasonable for completing the official paperwork and the continued support I received. Ejike was a pleasure to work with and although I live in London, not Norwich, we managed everything by phone, email and post. I now want to pass on that favour from my friend, by recommending Leathes Prior to someone else.

Louisa at Leathes Prior has the most amazing patience when dealing with a very difficult and misogynistic notary who took over 4 years to do a simple process. I can't recommend Louisa and Leathes Prior highly enough, I have also had my will written there which proved to be complex due to a combined and extended family and inheritance planning is the next issue to be sorted by Louisa

I needed a conveyancer for a house sale following my Mum’s death and was recommended Leathes Prior, based in Norwich. After an initial enquiry I was informed that Anna Jordan and her team would be dealing with the matter. From the very start and right the way through the process they have been excellent. Communications have been clear and prompt and they have answered any queries I have had. There is even an app which can be used for updates and communications if needed. The conveyancing has proceeded smoothly. I have been very pleased with the service and would recommend Leathes Prior to anyone needing a similar service. Thank you very much indeed.

Best decision I made was to hire Leathes Prior, and in particular Ejike, to manage the probate process for my mother's estate. I simply couldn't have completed the paperwork correctly with the nuances the taxman and court required without the legal understanding these guys have. Ejike was friendly, professional, efficient and very patient when the co-executor challenged the process at each stage, keeping me informed of the progress. LP were recommended to me by a friend and I'm passing on that recommendation, the costs were very reasonable and I couldn't be happier with their service and the outcome.

Having bought my first house some 23 years ago in Norwich I felt it appropriate to support local! Given our circumstances & a big shift in the market decades later Rachael & Angela didn't let us down. They were concise & reliable given our family circumstance at the time. The house I was looking to buy was also through the same agent which made all the communication & paperwork easier for Leathes Prior. Recommend Leathes Prior greatly. I used LP for a house sale previously and most recently to complete my Fathers probate and Will trusts. Jordan Walker completed the work for me and explained the whole process with great detail and in a way that was easy to understand. I was kept informed the whole way through and I never had to chase for any information or updates. The whole process which did have unusual complications was completed quickly and efficiently. Jordan Walker from Leathes Prior provided legal services related to a late family member’s estate. In the process, she also managed to save us a significant amount on our property purchase by correctly identifying that we were in fact first time buyers (something our conveyancing solicitor initially disagreed with). Rachael and Angela have been absolutely fantastic throughout what has been a very stressful process for us as first-time buyers. We initially had an offer accepted on a property, but unfortunately the sellers consistently failed to provide the information needed to progress the purchase. After seven months, Rachael was incredibly honest and advised that, it was in our best interests to pull out. Although this was a difficult decision, we really appreciated her honesty and guidance. When we found a new property, Rachael and Angela worked incredibly hard to get everything progressed and completed within just seven weeks. This was especially important to us with the arrival of our baby approaching, and they did everything they could to relieve the pressure and make the process as smooth as possible. We genuinely cannot thank them both enough for their clear communication. Buying our first home has been stressful at times, but having Rachael and Angela guiding us through it made such a difference. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a solicitor.
Truly world-class service from Rachael Hughes' team in conveyancing from start to finish. I was recommended the firm for an auction sale. I said proceed, and within minutes they sent me an app. I filled out the questionnaires and uploaded the proof of ID and other documents that night. Within 2-3 working days, they produced a legal pack (in brief, that is 60% of an entire conveyance that normally takes weeks). Rachael responds to queries by email rapidly, and it is a breath of fresh air having a solicitor who is so responsive. The other team members, Angela Chalmers and Tom Woods, have been great as well—so efficient.I genuinely got passed to a gem of a team. If you are looking to instruct Leathes Prior, they are a great firm. Do ask for Rachael Hughes; if you do, you will not want to use another conveyancing solicitor ever again."
