Do NOT use the Newcastle-Under-Lyme office for conveyancing. So slow. Jeopardised the transaction with their delays and poor advice.

We had a dispute over a border with our neighbours. Birkett Long took the case but it was passed to several staff, the communication with the person handling the case was extremely poor, they were not well informed of the facts and were poorly prepared, they were almost impossible to get a hold of, the final resolution was delayed and things are still not completely resolved because of the delays experienced. It was an extremely negetive experience. Eventually we made a formal complaint and finally a more professional person took over and actually responded to us and we were able to finalise the case.

We have used Keebles the firm taken over by Knights for many years . Since the take over they are unrecognisable. Unhelpful, money grabbing - their bottom line is more important than their clients needs. Terrible billing that results in cases being locked before completion…

Having had a very long drawn out process of trying to negotiate a financial split from my ex husband using a different solicitor, it was refreshing to be told with some degree of certainty what we could realistically expect to happen. Given that it was not a huge case involving vast sums of money, at no time was I made to feel that it didn't matter or wasn't important. Rather, I felt understood and listened to for which I am grateful.
