    So many mistakes made. Incorrect name, wrongly spelt name, phone calls not returned, not enough information given about important documents, wrong address written on letter about property for sale & lack of accountability.

    Probate challenge

    My solicitor changed her approach a number of times. She under estimated costs by 25%. I had to chase for every update/information as this incurred more cost. She failed at the job and, despite overwhelming paperwork, i gained not a penny

    completely satisfied with the services and Luke interpretation skills. However it is sad that in this day and age, wills are written in a legalise jargon that the intelligent layperson cannot fully comprehend and therefore you have to interrogate the solicitor for clarity. Luke explained this very well.

We were delighted to meet and deal with Mr Luke Evans, who immediately gave us an excellent and first class impression of himself and the company. Luke was exceptionally courteous and well mannered and extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. We were given competent and professional advice in a very clear and concise approach. The document was written perfectly and to our requirements as requested.     I wouldn’t recomend this solicitors to buy or sell your house, please save yourself the headache. Really bad service. I’d be lucky to even get a hello when they spoke to me. They constantly removed my partner from emails. Rude and unprofessional. I complained with no acknowledgement. My second complaint was picked up as I requested to speak to the managing partner who just spoke over me on the phone and didn’t listen to my concerns. At this point I gave up. For our house sale we ended up paying more money in liability insurance (fair enough if needed) but the solicitor wouldn’t request equal on our purchase. Really disappointed and they aren’t cheap so you’d expect a semi-decent service. MKB in Barnsley are meant to be brilliant so take your business there 👍🏼

      This company represented the seller of my new home. It was my fifth property purchase and also the worst experience I have had. A week before completion they just stopped communicating with my solicitor, the estate agent and the seller said they had been quiet with him too. I had an awful weekend not knowing if I was moving or whether I needed to cancel my removals because they weren't communicating. On the day before completion they were still being awkward and saying they weren't ready to exchange and my seller had to put his shoes on and go to their offices to sort out what it was that was holding up proceedings as he was wanting completion too. Finally they exchanged on the afternoon prior to completion and I was able to let my removal company know they were okay to come. From the perspective of both seller and buyer it was an appalling service. I'd not be happy if my solicitor treated my purchaser with such disrespect not to mention the way they treated him and kept him in the dark. Not the way a decent solicitors works, I'd avoid at all costs rather than let them loose with any kind of conveyancing work!
