It’s only the result that matters

Ultimately, Victoria gave us the absolute best advice throughout our case. She played the process to perfection, whilst always striving to offer best value for money and not create unnecessary work that would be chargeable.

During times of frustration, as a client, Victoria always brought us back to reality, to legal process and did so in a respectful, but firm way which is crucial to deliver the end result.

Very slow, poor comms, overcharged.

Took twelve weeks to complete conveyancing on a cash purchase, chain-free property. Frequently left in the dark over what delays were. Ended up having to do a lot of the emailing and phoning of the other parties myself in order to get any movement at all. Replies were slow if they came at all and often ignored the questions asked. Had to correct some basic errors. Charged around £350 more than quoted without explanation. When an explanation was requested, solicitor claimed search fees had gone up (in the twelve wks since the quote? Really?). Assuming I am not being compensated, I'll be leaving a public review - the unnecessary delays caused me a huge amount of stress and cost me an awful lot of money.

Quick onboarding process when we were looking to put our house on the market and then when we had an offer accepted on a purchase. Our solicitor (John Taylor) always replied quickly and professionally, setting out the information needed and next steps. We had issues with other solicitors in the chain and felt that Pepperells were always chasing and doing what they needed to. All staff contacted were polite.

I used Langley's 1st spent 27k and didn't look good for me in court.
Looked up different solicitors out of York. Pepperells just picked it as it's unusual name. 1st call was a lady with softy comforting well mannered voice.
Pepperells secutary. 7k I've spent with pepperells 5k just on a barrister who acted on my behalf and turned things around.And also told me last solicitor I used didn't do his job very well or didn't know ime now due 27k back of Langley's solicitors. I give pepperells solicitors 10/10. no pressure. no time wasting. Mrs Scott,s my solicitor along with her co pilot George. Ile keep pepperells solicitors very very good solicitors 😊😃💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

Description

Pepperells Solicitors has a long and proud history. Originally founded by Stewart Pepperell In 1985. In 2009 they incorporated Ivesons Solicitors a well respected law firm in Hull. In 2014 Pepperells incorporated their second law firm, Myer Wolff Solicitors, a long-established local law firm that also operated in Hull and whom had built their reputation on providing their clients with professional, dependable and affordable legal advice. This approach complements the Pepperells philosophy of having the firms focus on excellence in client service. In 2017 Pepperells Solicitors changed its structure from a traditional partnership to a Limited Company which reflects Pepperells modern approach to law. Also that year saw the opening of the Grimsby office and our Lincoln office opened in 2019. 2020 not only saw the opening of the boutique Beverley office but also the incorporation of the corporate and commercial law firm Millican Law in Newcastle. This brought our sixth office to the company and our third city location. Pepperells now has around 120 staff offering their private and commercial clients access to a wide range of services encompassing all areas of law. Pepperells Solicitors are proud to offer the highest standards of legal services to all our clients wherever they are based.
