    Awful experience

    Has poor people skills, asked for help with my contract and was very reluctant to assist and advised that I go find help elsewhere via family members etc. this mortgage was a terribly and stressful experience and Emma did was mostly part of the problem, her attitude was awful, considering how much money solicitors get I would have expected better. and not very helpful with the contract signing; she expected me to produce a printer from know where and print out piles of paperwork for me to sign. I’ve asked others who have had solicitors from other companies and they got their contracts etc hard copied through the post and marked so to know where to sign. I had a separate colleague who managed to arrange to get the contracts etc sent to me in the end as I had printed off the documents incorrectly. Makes mistakes in how much I should pay too!! She’s useless! Stressful experience all in all. Will not advise the use of Atwells and will never use them again!!

    Great communication from the staff, I felt informed and supported throughout despite being geographically remote from the office. They thought quickly on their feet to come up with solutions to tight deadlines and managed to get my mortgage and exchange over the line in time!

    Polite but not efficient

    We felt we were a very low priority once we had paid. We gave two dates for critical meetings when we needed letters for, and these went by. Our recent letter has still not been sent, and no communication or explanation has been given. Professional maners aer fine, but actions are incredibly slow.

    Brilliant

    Lloyd is great, attentive and pays attention to details. Explained what my contract meant and spoke to me on the phone explaining everything that I was signing in exchange for the offer. I recommend him straight away to another person in the same situation. Will definitely return if needed. The process was also fast and enabled me to hand the contract back way before the deadline

      Quick and efficient service.

      The solicitor acted quickly following my instruction. I paid the fees to: prepare and submit a claim to obtain a possession order for my property, verification me and for the court fee. The tenants in my property were due to move out on the 31 May but they didn't. Much to my surprise they moved out on 5 June. Proceeding were halted and I promptly received a refund of the court fee.
