    Having used Hart Brown almost 25 years ago when we first drew up our wills, we came back to make some adjustments as the service had previously been faultless. The same could not be said this time. No acknowledgement of an email of ours replying to Hart Brown to arrange our appointment in over 2 weeks is not what we had anticipated, but we cant really take the chance to wait any longer given that its a will! Maybe a one off, who knows, but our loyalty was clearly misplaced.

    Making a Will when Owning a property abroad

    My wife and I decided that it was high time to make a Will. The 'problem' involved our ownership of a house in France. Having made a number of enquiries with various firms of Solicitors, we decided that Hart Brown had the necessary expertise to overcome what could be the contentious issue of forced inheritance laws that pertain in France. Having contacted our local Notaire in France and in consultation with a knowledgeable Zara Munday at Hart Brown, we agreed that the best way forward was to make two Wills, one in France with the Notaire covering only the house and one in England with Hart Brown covering the rest of our assets in France together with all of our English assets. Having two Wills avoids any disputes and more importantly makes the execution of each Will easier, faster and therefore cheaper to enact. We were extremely pleased with Hart Brown's efficient, expeditious and great value for money service. Highly recommended!!

    Hart Brown's technical and personal skills (particularly listening to our needs and clearly communicating) in producing our wills was highly impressive. Furthermore, fees were flagged in advance, maintained and considered upon conclusion to be fair and reasonable. In marked contrast, quotation for Trust work was wholly unacceptable.
