I have a very pleasant experience working with Joanna and her team, absolutely professional attitude to all my questions and demands, they gave me full confidence and job has been done perfectly. Just for two and half months we finished a whole process for buying a house. Thanks

We came across Sweeney Miller has a highly rated local solicitors to help us in purchasing a house in Sunderland for my mother-in-law to stay in. My wife and I live in Bermuda, and we approached a few solicitors to help us with the purchase. Sweeney Miller gave us a swift quote with accurate calculations of SDLT, which was ultimately the reason to proceed with them as others were either not quick enough or miscalculated the tax. Once on-boarded their solicitor portal was extremely helpful and transparent to know exactly where we were at each stage. Additionally, our contact throughout the whole process, Farzana Begum, was professional, prompt, clear, and receptive to any questions. They were extremely thorough with due diligence, searches and advised on any potential hurdles to the process. She was immensely accommodating of the time difference, which hindered usual communication times and overall, we could not be happier with the services rendered.

I used the Billericay branch of Fisher Jones and Greenwood LLP for a complicated remortgage and transfer of equity. My solicitor and his pa kept me updated and replied to emails and phone calls which provided reassurance. Alex ensured everything happened in a timely manner and ensured things went through all the right procedures. I would be confident to use them again in the future

Following on from a couple of years of verbal and abusive behaviour from my neighbours family. I maintained the fence between the two properties, as I have always done since moving into my new build home. My neighbours have not lived there very long, but seem to think they own everything including the fences, paths and road. Since they moved in I have maintained the fence three times, the first and second were ok as I paid for the post, panels and paint; however, on the third occasion, they threatened me with court action and for the whole fence to be renewed with less desirable materials that did not go with the rest of the village and was not environmentally friendly. This is when I contacted Hewitts Solicitors, in particular Ben Green. Ben was very professional and understanding with my issue of the boundary dispute and the abuse my family suffered from the neighbours. Ben has been working relentlessly to have the issue resolved, by keeping me informed on a daily basis, even when communication with the other party was ignored. Overall, Ben has been very supportive and helped us achieve our goal of having an environmentally friendly boundary fence.

Diane was recommended to me by a lovely lady who sources properties for investors. From start to finish Diane & her lovely assistant Sara have been very helpful, professional & dealt with matters very quickly. This property purchase has been the quickest I've encountered! Diane also took the time to see me in person to explain everything to me as the lending company is not a mortgage company & she wanted to make sure I understood everything & was happy to go through with the purchase. She actually cares that her clients are fully aware of exactly what they are committing themselves to. Fantastic service & I will recommend Diane to everyone. Thank you so much Diane & Sara!

I have used this company twice and have found them very efficient. The first time was a conveyancing matter which had to be resolved from start to finish in 30 days and I am pleased to say it was. The second time, is still ongoing, with the drawing up of an easement for a septic treatment plant on my land to be shared by a third party. I find them very knowledgeable as to what is required and sound advice about how to proceed.

Positive and friendly encounters, whether by phone, email or in person - no bots involved. Also, my conveyance was dealt with in the space of a month, with the completion date set and kept. It is rare to find such efficiency in a team of solicitors. Highly recommended!
