Licensing reviews cover how a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 can be reviewed by a local authority or, in some cases, the Secretary of State after complaints about drinking establishment conduct, disorder or non‑compliance. A solicitor in this area advises licensees on representations, gathers evidence (incident logs, CCTV, test purchases), negotiates conditions, and represents the client at a licensing hearing to defend or amend the licence. Outcomes include changes to conditions, suspension or revocation, and potential impact on business operations.
