I've never sold a house before and so I had lots of 'noob' questions which Cheryl answered for me with patience. I was kept informed regularly, when Cheryl was on holiday Tracy kept me updated too. There were delays from down the bottom end of the chain caused by other solicitors but Cheryl seemed to be doing all she could and pushing them along to get the sale completed.

Wanted to share my experience with others, if you get Samera, find another solicitor we have had to disinstruct now due to a complete lack of response from Samera and team. reception do not go out of their way to relay messages like "I can take a message for you for her" instead they try to transfer you or suggest calling back later which if you do call back later you meet the same looped responses of it being transferred then it goes back to reception for them to simply just try to forward the call again instead of offering alternative options like "we can relay a message to her for you" which when we demanded that we leave a message instead for her to call us seemed to have done the trick as she called a few hours later however after a month of us trying we simply have went with a different option. if her workload is that much why give her our case? I was also told she was on medical leave for 2 week, why wasn't our case transferred to another team member to progress the purchase of a chain free house. they claimed to have been waiting for the other solicitors but only sent the chaser in the morning prior to the call. unsure if it was the very first message from Samera and team or a chaser. overall would not recommend. I even hand delivered the documents to ensure a speedy transition of this. I also emailed once i got back home to ask for written confirmation of receipt. didnt receive a response. I can only attest to my experience with Samera, and not the overall firm Stephen Wilmot as the director Robert Stephens has kindly agreed to refund the amount spent. Which was our very first response from the solicitors after approx. 1 month of us emailing/phoning asking for updates minus the initial response

Have been using them for years, very good service and at reasonable fees

Currently still in the process, I fortunately have not used this solicitor personally but who I am purchasing from has used them. The poor lady I am buying my next home off has had to deal with so much from them and their lack of urgency…knowing she’s replied to enquiries that have then sat in email inboxes for over 2 weeks….to the point she forwarded the replies to myself directly so I could at least know what paper work ect was needed. They have mad the experience to anxiety inducing from all parties as all other solicitors cannot get through to them to discuss completions it’s taking over a week to reply to emails. Steer clear everyone
