Used these solicitors due to buying a new build home and they were familiar with the process with the particular development we were buying with so made sense to use them. Didn't have lots of contact with them so on a personal level, I can't comment on anyone specific. Everything was fine really but if im honest I felt a bit frustrated with the amount of times I was contacted wanting further information about certain things, which I suppose is normal but would rather be asked all in one go as felt like the amount of information they kept wanting was never ending, even when I had previously given this. A lot of repetition at times. Other than that, we moved house and got through it and im sure the experience could have been a lot worse. I would recommend the solicitors and found the service to be adequate.

These are a great solicitor. Rebecca Foulkes was brilliant throughout. She was attentive, always willing to help, and on the detail.

I have used Savage Crangle for various legal requirements and have always found them to be excellent in every area.

I am not even this solicitor’s client, yet I have been forced to deal with the consequences of extremely poor communication and lack of urgency from Rebecca Sparling, who is handling this case. It has taken up to 6 weeks to receive replies to simple enquiries — and that’s only after repeated chasing. My own solicitor has sent multiple emails which have gone unanswered, and when we try calling, the line is constantly busy or we get no meaningful update. This is part of a property chain, which has been made very clear multiple times, yet there appears to be absolutely no sense of urgency or awareness of how delays impact everyone involved. I have now been chasing for over 3 weeks just to get a completion date, with no progress or clear communication. The level of service has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. It genuinely feels like we are being ignored, despite doing everything we can to move things forward. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this solicitor if timely communication and efficiency are important to you.

The transaction completed, but I later found that planning and boundary landscaping obligations affecting my property had not been clearly explained in practical terms. When I sought clarification, the responses lacked certainty and clear guidance. I expected more proactive, plot-specific advice rather than general references within lengthy documentation. Prospective new build buyers should ensure they receive very clear written explanations of any boundary or landscaping restrictions before proceeding.
