Shanika went above a beyond to help my family

Shanika provided us with everything we needed for our upcoming hearing. Even though Shanika was unable to represent me in the high court due to us needing a barrister, she went above and beyond to find us a barrister which was within our price range and in such a short notice period of 24 hours. She contacted me with any updates and was always there to answer any of our questions. Shanika has definitely put our faith back into humanity and I will be forever grateful to her for her support and kindness throughout this difficult time.

Very poor interaction

Very poor interaction. Client care team that addresses new client enquiries wasted a lot of time, confirmed availability of a solicitor on a short notice for a court hearing, wasted 2 days of no response (despite multiple emails and calls), only to come back to withdraw noting the solicitor isn’t available for an unconvincing explanation. Very poor service but grateful I discovered this from the outset, better that than to have assigned them as representative for an important case

After finding myself in a difficult situation with my ex partner Jason Stanley from the Altrincham office was recommended to me by a friend. I really cannot fault Jason in the way he handled my case. What could have potentially dragged on for months with letters going back and forth, Jason's 'no messing' approach quickly brought the dispute to an end and with the result I wanted. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Both Sushma and Maria have been exceptional throughout my case, they really listened to my issues and have been really supportive. Suffering from anxiety, they have always been extremely considerate and have made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Maria went above and beyond within my court case recently and gave me a better outcome than I was originally expecting. Working as a Joint Expert

In my field, it is important that the solicitors understand the situation and consider what they need rather than just sending a standard letter found online. Likewise, it is important that they consider correspondence carefully when further information is requested. Communication about timescales always vital. These are three key features and in my experience Stowe do this thus ensuring the best service for their clients.

Non-transparent, without integrity, and unrepentant.

I had an abysmal unsupportive and really expensive experience with these solicitors, culminating with them deliberately failing to alert me to an upcoming hearing, and claiming that the courthouse had told them I had dismissed them - a process that is impossible; so - a legal firm that isn’t honest - they left me to burn when I was seeking safety for my son, in the most disloyal show of bad behaviour. By coincidence I had already put in pages multiple complaints about their behaviour and not a single one of the complaints was given any weight by them whatsoever so my advice is to avoid this group at all costs- they are an appalling group of solicitors. When I complained to the ombudsman, I was told that no action would be taken against them as “not enough complaints have been before”. So don’t expect help from the ombudsman who is clearly not impartial. I chose Horsham Family Law and I believe if I had use them instead of Stowe Family Law, I would’ve had a much better service all through, than I ever got from Stowe. Needless to say, as the icing on the cake, when Horsham Family Law requested the case file, from Stowe, they refused to give us almost any of it. Makes you wonder why doesn’t it? Maybe the rest of their tactics were as bad as the very badly written Lawyers brief they provided my barrister in court I did manage to get evidence of from them. Avoid at all costs, employee at your cost.

Dump time and poor service

Many times lawyers from Stowe dumped time on my case with no justification. They have a habit of passing your case around multiple teams just to get a second opinion. 3 people I know going through divorces have sacked them. Stay away!
