Charlotte is possibly one of the most competent people I've ever met. Prepared, efficient, to-the-point, clear, concise, able to adjust and switch context without hestiation. I'm so fortunate to have had Charlotte on my side.
An hour of Charlotte's time and expert advice was the difference between not reaching an agreement in my divorce and achieving an amicable outcome that has:
- Avoided court and extensive legal fees
- Resulted in the best possible outcome for my three young children
- Ensured both my ex-wife and I can rebuild our lives and have what we need

Alex helped me with a claim after I broke my wrist in 2022. I originally contacted another lawyer who wanted me to pay fees upfront. After this, finding Slater and Heelis was a relief. Alex was very professional and although the claim took a long time due to doctor waiting times, he was very responsive throughout and kept me updated. I’m happy with the outcome, they even rounded down the solicitor fees for me.

After 5 months of stress and worry plus 3 hours in court finally the truth is established.
The team effort prior to the court appearance was fantastic, great communication and always helping and guiding us to remain positive at all times even when the outlook was quite negative.
The barrister and her assistance where fantastic on the day and despite us heaping the praise on them after the verdict they were very humble in saying all the prep was done by Rachel, Hannah and the team they only had to ask the questions, shows what a professional practise Slater Heelis are.
