I had the pleasure of working with Andrew Barton (Andy) at Stephens Scown Solicitors during my divorce, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the very beginning, Andy was incredibly considerate, understanding, and genuinely a delight to deal with. What really stood out was how genuine and personable he is. He never came across as someone just there for a meeting or a call — he truly cared and took the time to support me through a very difficult period. He always made himself available whenever I needed to clarify anything or talk something through, and it never felt like it was just about the money. My divorce followed a long marriage, and Andy made sure I was fully supported throughout, always keeping my best interests at the forefront. Given that the other side was pushing for an outcome that would have left me with nothing, Andy handled everything with professionalism, determination, and care, ultimately achieving a fair 50–50 outcome. The best Solicitor firm in South West
I have dealt with Stephen Scown solicitors over the past 7-8 years on a number of issues and they have been by far the most knowledgeable and honest Solicitors with a 100% success rate in my case. They have dealt in my divorce proceedings and also in relation to a dispute with a builder whom I took to a tribunal and won. I would highly recommend them, they are more expensive, but if your main goal is an outcome favourable to you I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.
