Only given one star as cannot give 0 stars. Probate department is shocking, solicitor incorrectly interpreted will which meant it it had to go to counsel costing over £1200 for him to tell her she was wrong. She didn't gather all the requirement information and documents which she had to send repeat letters asking for different documents which run up the bill. Said she applied for probate when she hadn't , incorrect names on letters, making overpayment to creditors, letters from her took 4 weeks to arrive if received at all. Now 21 months later someone else has taken over her cases due to leave and he to is making mistakes. JCP Solicitors have made a very upsetting and traumatic time much more painful

JCP Solicitors did work recently to draw up Powers of Attorney and new wills for my very elderly parents. I can't praise Alison Kent and her staff highly enough for her professional, thorough but sensitive handling of our needs. I would highly recommend JCP to anyone needing legal services.

She was incredibly patient and kind to my father at a very difficult time. We subsequently asked them to handle the sale of my parents' house when they died. Since then we have moved all our legal affairs to JCP and they have done the conveyancing on our recent house move and sorted out our wills. It's so convenient having everything in one place.
