    Poor service

    I feel that we have been grossly overcharged, thatvwe continually had to chase for updates, that we had to remind them what needed I be done and that we had to drive our issue ourselves and that paperwork which should have been checked, had not been. If we had been informed correctly of what the final fee would be, we would have gone elsewhere.

    Dreadful service

    I had a truly appalling experience with Attwells and one star is very generous. From losing my documents, to lying about communications in various stages in the process and ongoing disingenuity and disorganisation which delayed my sale for months. The staff were nice but lacked any and all competence. I doubt they would be happy with the service they provided if it was them on the other side. I have used them twice (the first time was excellent) but I would strongly suggest potential clients run in the opposite direction. They were a nightmare. If you are already embroiled in service with them make sure you know the email of the partner for that department, and any others, you will need it.

    Brilliant

    Lloyd is great, attentive and pays attention to details. Explained what my contract meant and spoke to me on the phone explaining everything that I was signing in exchange for the offer. I recommend him straight away to another person in the same situation. Will definitely return if needed. The process was also fast and enabled me to hand the contract back way before the deadline

      Got the job done, but communication could be better

      Attwells successfully completed my purchase within the deadline they promised, which was the most important thing for me and the reason I'm giving 4 stars. However, as a FTB, I often felt that the auction team spoke to me as though I already understood the process and legal terminology. A bit more guidance and clearer explanations would have made the experience far less stressful. Communication could definitely be improved, especially for FTB who are relying on their solicitor to help them understand what is happening at each stage. Greater clarity around fees and potential additional costs would have been so helpful
