Very professional. Not the cheapest but the advice is invaluable and the work thorough, so well worth every penny. Very good and friendly to deal with and the advice and detailed contractual work saved us so much stress and heartache when things started to get a bit adversarial further down the line following a complicated property sale.
We had a really poor experience with another Solicitor at a different practice and seemed to be getting nowhere after three and a half years! I have previously used James Melvin-Bath for a family matter and he was amazing, so sought him out again. We liaised with James for a few weeks and jumped ship to Willans and we will be forever grateful we did! We had Bethen Abraham deal with our case, what can I say Beth was a breath of fresh air, just what we needed. Knowledgeable, assertive, pro-active i could carry on..... within 3 months we had a deal agreed and 6 months it's settled. I must also give praise to Suzanne O'Riordan who jumped in very late in the game to resolve a transfer of equity and remortgage in under a week! Only just... thank you all involved at Willans.

I cannot rate Tom or Willans any higher for their courtesy and professionalism. The difficulty in dealing with my late parent's estate in the UK whilst residing overseas was smoothed over by Tom; his considerate and personable manner made him a pleasure to correspond with, and he closed out the matter with efficiency. Claire and her team come highly recommended; the knowledge in their respective fields and care for their clients are second to none.

When I had a half hour free consultation with Katie Duthie in relation to an inheritance Act claim, I never imagined that some months later, I would be here significantly better off as a result of her work. Katie is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She always contacted me when she said she was going to, replied to my e mails immediately and explained what was happening through every step of this claim. I felt as though Katie was genuinely invested in my case and that she fought very hard for me. She went above and beyond what I expected to secure a sum for me that is more than I anticipated. With Katie's knowledge, I trusted her 100% and she managed my expectations with honesty and integrity from the very beginning of my journey. I was continually reassured and felt very supported. I found the conduct and overall service delivery of this firm to be highly unprofessional. A firm handling important legal matters should be reliable and responsive, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. It is clear that this firm prioritises its public image and looking “polished” on the outside, but their approach is entirely superficial and not genuine. They present themselves as a firm that will deliver strong results, but in reality, they are all just talk. The entire process lacked real transparency and efficiency, and I would strongly advise potential clients to look elsewhere.

Mary Young has recently completed the sale of our previous house and the purchase of our new home 12 months ago. Both transactions were not without their complications which Mary at all times dealt with extremely efficiently, professionally any patiently . Her advice is always clear and her communications always timely. A mention must be made of Emily James who completed the final transactions for both and at all times could not have been more approachable and efficient. I would without doubt recommend Mary.

After a long 3 year fight to get inheritance owed to me Simon Arneaud worked hard and tirelessly to help me get through to the end always had answers to questions and was available to talk to when needed. It was a very long process but he kept me informed brilliantly and never stopped fighting for me costs have added up as expected but I’ve always been informed of the costs involved and can’t thank Simon enough for his help and wish him all the best for the future! Hopefully I never need him again but if I do I won’t hesitate to use him again
