As the freeholder of a property, I needed advice on whether a lease required a Deed of Covenant to be drafted on its transfer – it turned out that it did, due to its age. Previously, I had contacted a number of other firms, and they had all turned down the work or asked me to send in an email which was replied to a few weeks later if at all. With Thackray Williams I was put straight through to David Gibson who clearly outlined the relevant law and what was required. When the leaseholder requested that the Deed be produced quickly, so as not to delay completion on the sale of the lease, Thackray Williams stepped up to the plate. I found all staff very professional and accessible and couldn’t find fault. I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending them.
