I can’t praise Asim Din highly enough for his support and dedication in handling my commercial dispute case. The significant outcome was a direct consequence of his tenacity and tactical acumen. We have used Butcher and Barlow for several pieces of work recently, including shareholder agreements, work on Companies House and also commercial lease work. Specifically, Andy Mackenzie was superb in his advice around our new office space, and Jonathan Alderley was extremely helpful in ensuring that our shareholder provisions were set up appropriately and accurately. Both ensured that our work with them was low touch and very easy. 10/10

I've used Karen Baker twice now, first time for selling, and the second for buying. Her knowledge and help is second to none. She picked four faults in the sellers solicitors contract, which would have caused so many problems further down the line. I would highly recommend her & Heyman &Co............Thank you Karen.

The team at Butcher and Barlow are a perfect example of synergy. The communication and professionalism of its employees are outstanding. Right down from the legal team through to the reception team who are as equally impressive. They are friendly and warm but remain professional and straight to the point – translating the intricate details of a complex legal system into a language I can easily understand. Their legal knowledge, speed at which they work, meticulous attention to detail, communication between the departments and ability to think outside of the box are truly impressive, so I feel confident that all aspects of my business are totally safe in their hands. So far, I have employed the services of their phenomenally tough and brilliant litigation department, the extremely detailed and fast commercial property department, and also their wills, contracts and HR departments who leave no stone unturned, protecting my future and mitigating any unforeseen events. Somehow, they have the ability to be succinct, yet provide a vast amount of pertinent information without waffling. They have always provided regular email updates which sum up the situation, reiterate what has been said, and then clearly state 'the next steps or options to choose from.' Brilliant. Amazingly, there has never been a spelling mistake or error in all the vast communication we’ve had over the past few years. If ever they propose any work, they always confirm the cost and ensure that I am happy to proceed first. I will never, ever go to any other solicitors’ firm - I have used many other solicitors throughout my life and none even come close to the ability, legal knowledge and meticulous attention to detail that Butcher and Barlow offer. Their professionalism is second to none. When I first established my business, I will never forget my Bank Manager advising that I ‘invest’ in good accountants or solicitors since they are “worth their weight in gold and ultimately save you money in the long run.” He was dead right.

My family could not recommend Greg enough. He has been a brilliant solicitor to us throughout our legal dispute over our share of our late mother’s property and succeeded in making sure we received our portion of the sale. As a first time executor I felt rather lost and stressed about dealing with my late aunt’s estate. The task was rather tricky in that there was no original will, just a copy. My brother and I appointed Butcher & Barlow as our solicitors to advise and support during the administration of probate on our late father's estate. Our parents had previously used this company for approximately 25 years and had full trust in the firm.
