Commercial Dispute Litigation

When faced with a complicated High Court claim / counter claim litigation we turned to Forbes. We were new to this situation and to be honest very worried about it. Paul's calm and unflappable style is just what we needed to keep us focussed on getting a good outcome. Paul guided us through the various stages right up to and including mediation where the matter was resolved to our satisfaction. Paul was very client focussed and when the going got tough he maintains a dogged determination to keep us moving forward. Paul kept us on track to resolve the matter ASAP without the risk and stress of a court case. You don't realise the toll legal proceedings can take on you until wake up one morning and they have gone away. Ashley's service

Ashley not only brings expertise but a fun personality to what can be a dry subject area despite its importance. Ashley returns all emails and phone calls promptly and does what he says which unfortunately is almost non existent in the professional services sector these days. Outstanding Support Throughout a Complex Business Sale

I had the pleasure of working with Jacob at Forbes Solicitors during the sale of the business I work for, and I honestly cannot thank him enough for the support he gave throughout the entire process. This was my first time being involved in a business sale and, at times, it felt incredibly complex and overwhelming. Jacob was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I met with Rubina in person for our initial consultation, and she was very informative and reassuring. She took the time to explain the entire process and timeline, which gave me a much clearer understanding of what to expect and made me feel that I was in good hands. The process itself was quite lengthy, and email responses could sometimes take a while. However, I soon came to understand that these matters take time, and I adjusted my expectations regarding response times. There were a few mistakes made along the way, but they were promptly rectified, and I was not charged for any of the corrections. While that may sound like it should be expected, it is not always the case with solicitors. In fact, my now ex-partner had a very negative experience with his own solicitor. Both Melanie and Rubina were supportive throughout the process and provided an excellent service. I would happily recommend them.

Forbes Solicitors are just superb! The are so empathetic, apt and pay detail attention to everything. Leonie Millard fought for me not just as a solicitor, but as a woman and a mother. We spent almost 4 years together fighting my case side by side and it feels like I have known her since ages when I have not even set my eyes on her at all, that alone endear her and her team to my heart. My company had some problems getting paid off of a client for some subcontracting works done at Christmas time. I spoke with Michael Swan at Forbes on the phone and after a small fee he had written up the legal document to ensure the client paid within a set time frame… the letter never even made the mail box. 4 and a half hours later they had settled the invoice in full on the same day after nearly 4 months of myself requesting payment. 100% recommend if you are having problems with payments then Michael is the man to speak too. What an amazing results after being owed thousands for nearly 4 months.
