Started the process of buying our house in January, came highly recommended by our estate agent as they said there in house solicitors would be quicker as we have no chain. First solicitor we had kept asking for numerous paperwork we had already sent and signed, this happened quite a few times which kept delaying the process. Second solicitor doesn’t seem to be doing much neither because nearly 6months down the line we’re still awaiting a completion and moving date, the property we’re buying is empty there is no chain. The whole process should be simple, quote from the estate agent you should be in by 12weeks from accepting offer. Absolutely ball ache and inches from plugging the plug on the house.

I would avoid this company at all costs. We used them in 2024 to buy and sell our house. Throughout the whole process it was impossible to get hold of the people I needed to speak to. When we asked about delays we were told that they were waiting for us to sign something that had been sent to us, we never received the email because it bounced back due to large files and it took them 5 weeks to mention this to us. When we asked about further delays they blamed our seller, when I informed them our seller was family they blamed our buyer. They got our initials muddled up in numerous legal documents and failed to process information correctly which caused further delays. They also sent us questions about a property we did not own. It took 18 months to get our land deeds once we had moved in and this involved me having to chase them every month for an update on where they were with getting them. Our estate agent had to chase them numerous times and they made the whole process much more exhausting than it should have been. If you enjoy having added stress to your life, spending hours in the phone to then not have the call returned and having emails ignored I fully recommend them. I would however fully recommend using a different solicitor for buying and selling.
