The case workers involved with my house sale acted swiftly and professionally. on the occasions they could not be spoken to on the phone they would always reply to an email . Happy to give updates over and above the 'Redbrick' monitoring scheme. Would definitely use them again. Thank you Abby & Sarah .

I tried to contact my case worker multiple times and was never able to get hold of her. The direct line either cut off or when I had chance to leave a voicemail, she never called me back. I then rang the main number and spoke to reception whereby they told me she was either busy or out of office and would call me back, which she never did. My emails were rarely answered. There were also two occasions where I was asked to provide specific documents, which had already been done days/weeks previously. I was then told I hadn’t provided the documents and me not doing so would delay the sale. When I stated I had done so weeks before, they responded with “oh yes, we’ve just found them.” I was never kept up to date on the progress of the sale, even to the point of the buyer being unable to secure a mortgage on his side 4 months down the line of accepting an offer! Very poor communication, unprofessional service and lack of urgency about anything.

The sales team dealing with the selling of my property were excellent. However the conveyance side of things has been very poor. Eleanor never keeps me updated, responds to emails or acts on any questions I have. I am still waiting on outstanding money due to me. I would not recommend their legal services. I have never dealt with anyone so incompetent.

I was recommended Gilson Gray by my estate agent when I had a bid accepted on a property. My worker was Sally who was really good kept me informed of progress via email and telephone and explained everything really well very happy with the service would definitely use again

Can’t Recommend Gilson Gray enough, but what made my experience what it was, was down to Sally McBride my conveyor Solicitor, absolutely fantastic, everyone when moving house complains about solicitors and estate agents. But Sally is certainly not in this category, she goes above and beyond with communication even if she does not have the relevant feedback, she still calls to let you know she is trying, when she went on leave, she rang to let me know I was in good hands. If it wasn’t for Sally I swear I would have had a nervous break down! Gilson Gray you need to be proud to have such a professional lady working for you, who not only is good at her job but she actually cares. So much so I have chose Gilson Gray to purchase my new house, so the proof is there treat people how you want to be treated and they keep coming back!
