Very Satisfied with Jackson Lees

I worked with Lucy Joel of Jackson Lees to buy my first home. She has been absolutely professional at every step of the way. She explains everything clearly, gives frequent updates on the status/progress of the process and always answers her e-mails. Everything was very smooth from the initial explanation of the process to exchange of contracts and completion. Lucy worked extra-hard to make sure that I got the keys on the agreed date and always kept me in loop. The purchase was completed quite quickly with no hassle. I cannot think of anything else she could have done differently, everything was done very efficiently. I would recommend Lucy to my family and friends with ease.

Totally unprofessional

This solicitor firm are the worst firm ever. Poor customer services Very slow perhaps overloaded with work If you don’t want grief then stay away from them.

Very responsive

I instucted Jackson Lees for a conveyancing matter and must say Gemma was the most professional and productive solicitor anyone could ask for. The whole process went smoothly and totally stress free. Gemma was very responsive to all my queries and the reception staff have always responded promptly and made sure my calls were returned. I would definitely recommend Jackson Lees for anyone looking for a conveyancer.

CONSISTENT - Consistently bad

Never again would I put my trust in Jackson Lees Group Ltd with the purchase of a property again! Made what should have been a straight forward sale with no ties the most stressful experience! When trying to make a complaint it’s near impossible as you get passed from pillar to post then told ‘sorry their is no one available to speak to’. Very unprofessional and not very proactive with the job they have in hand.

Disgusting company with no morals

Tried to illegally evict a 73 year old man from his home of 8 years, without even bothering to read the evidence. I have never experienced a solicitors with such a bad attitude and disregard for the law. They obviously run their firm like some kind of dodgy bailiffs. The so called solicitor involved was stood on the doorstep screaming at everyone, including the old mans solicitor, just embarrassing, she then left with her tail between her legs. They then tried to have him arrested for opening his partners mail, he only opened a bill as she has dementia and could not sort out the bill herself. Terrible attitude, disgusting behaviour towards a vulnerable person and all round joke of a company. Avoid at all costs this completely unprofessional company !

Happy house-move client

Couldn’t have wished for a better service 🙏 Connor Simpson dealt with my case & I always found him willing to update & reassure me. Communication, both by e-mail & telephone was excellent & much appreciated during what was, for me, a very anxious & frustrating process. Fantastic service from start to finish.

The service from start to finish was absolutely incredible. Our solicitor Harry was genuinely amazing, we can’t sing his praises more. Disgusting woman tried to put words into my mouth

I was arrested on 1st April 2025 after a neighbour dialled 999 and told lies about me. During police interview I was represented by a woman named Beth Walker of BJC who was supposedly there to protect my interests. I discovered later on that this idiotic woman had written in her notes that I had responded to a question from the interviewing police constable with the words "You are not allowed to ask that question!" But guess what? I NEVER said that. The notes accusing me of saying to the police "You are not allowed to ask that question!" were shown to a different solicitor later on to cause me further undeserved embarrassment. When the person who is supposed to be protecting your interests not only tries to put words into your mouth but words that actually sound then it's time to boycott that company - PERMANENTLY. I am absolutely disgusted by this.

Very approachable

Jannina Barker was very approachable & professional. She put me a t ease & made the whole process straight forward. The process was completed swiftly. I was using the free wills scheme (leaving money to a charity), but did not feel this prejudiced the process.

Trying to screwYou over

Never did what they said they would do ( get the videos of me being smashed up by the police DAR) If I signed their form for legally aid. I have this in reordered call. I feel they were just buying the police time. Be wary

Refund request

We request a refund from this company for a service that was no longer needed. The process of recovering a refund was unnecessarily long and frustrating (2 weeks) Jackson-lee have the tech to take your money in the blink of an eye, but a refund isn’t so straight forward. I will NOT use or recommend this company in the future.
