The client engaged Rowberry Morris to resolve a disputed probate in which her sister was in breach of her duties as executor of her late mother's estate. Rather than divide the estate by three (there are three sisters) she awarded a disproportionate amount of money to her husband (who was not mentioned in the will). She had a skillful history of obtaining money from family members and used every trick in her book to avoid payment. Sarah was kind, persistent, yet firm in guiding the executor to a position where she willingly compensated the client and the other sister. Since the client lives in the USA, communication was effected via emails and Zoom meetings. Sarah optimized her client's time and cost by guiding the sisters to an equitable solution. Sarah is understanding and objective, which are required skills in testing situations.

Mr Reynolds dealt promptly drawing up the will to my wishes. However my e-mail to arrange the signing was ignored.
From the outset of my case Anna Illingworth and her assistant Ruth were a positive and determined team. There was no “grey area” with Anna I knew from the outset what my position was and where it was going. The advice I received was strong and this gave me confidence of a positive outcome. I was not disappointed. I had regular feedback on how the process was going and replies to any questions were quickly answered. The case progressed rapidly and at the completion I was more than happy with the outcome. Whilst I would not wish anyone to have to go through this process I would have no hesitation in recommending Anna and Rowberry Morris.
