Spire Solicitors provided me with wrong and costly IHT advice. They made multiple mistakes with incorrect names of the drafting of documentation, including my late mum”s name and the wrong year on the forms. I would strongly recommend not using Sprire Solicitors and highly recommend using another legal firm. I could only post one star, but would rather have given no star at all.

I found her to be professional and clear and extremely helpful. I have been using the Wymondham office of Spire solicitors for some fifty years. Recently, the partner I have mainly used during that time, has unfortunately retired. This occurred just as i needed a new tenancy agreement to be drawn up for one of my commercial properties. As a result, Roger Margand of their Norwich office took charge of the matter which he proceeded to deal with knowledgably and expeditiously. Throughout this process i was impressed by Roger's determination to do what was in my best interests and i look forward to working with him again.

This firm cannot be trusted whatsoever. They lost our family silver and furniture and refused to pay compensation. Our money was subject to tax penalties and interest on late payments because this firm failed to comply with their obligations to HMRC. We also lost money because someone else with an interest in the estate was overpaid. We have literally been fleeced by this firm for shoddy work. Their charges are extortionate. They charged over and over again to do the same work because they were not able to get it right the first time. Alisdair Liddle was the worst solicitor I have ever had. He made promise after promise then left the firm without fulfilling any of them. Absolutely shocking and appalling conduct from a supposedly professional person.

Expensive. After 25 years service with a predecessor Hood Vores & Allwood what loyalty discount was I shown ? Sod all. Last time I ever go to Spire. For me, lack of client 'care'. Lack of information regarding progress. Much better and less expensive options in Dereham, and probably more caring and professional as well. That's my opinion anyway.
