I used this company as it was my fathers solicitor when he died. They charged very high costs with little justification as the will was straight forward and we had consolidated his estate before his death as my sister and I had POA of his affairs in his latter years. To compound this they made several mistakes. they do not appear to double check work of junior staff. I could not recommend this company to anyone!

I recently used Lindsays for support with a family member’s estate following their passing, and the service received was outstanding. Megan Hainey in particular was extremely professional, approachable, and proactive throughout the process. Communication was clear and timely at every stage, which gave me great confidence during a difficult time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Megan and the team to anyone in need of legal support.
Lindsay’s Solicitors , Dundee office, provide a dedicated Guardianship Legal Aid team. I did a lot of research online, and discovered that Lindsay’s were one of the very few firms of solicitors, who undertake legal aid work. With an online review score of 4.8 out of 5, they were an obvious choice for me. The solicitor who handled my case, Sam Morton, provided an excellent service. The Guardianship process can be a minefield for the layman, which I was. Sam guided me through the process to a successful conclusion. Nothing was too much trouble, and he would often contact me in the evening to give updates” Thanks once again for all your help and guidance.
We used Lindsays to prepare a submission to extend an existing guardianship order and add financial in addition to welfare powers. This was a complex and convoluted process involving Legal Aid application, mental health and psychological assessments etc which we would have found difficult to navigate unaided. As it was, Sam Morton of Lindsays oversaw the entire process efficiently and kept us fully informed with a minimum of bureaucracy for us.
Lesley McKinlay at Lindsays provided excellent help and advice. She was patient and professional, listening to our requirements and offering solutions. Have had 'updating wills' on my to do list for years, very glad to be able to put a line through it! Also had the pleasure of dealing with Christine Carmichael for house sales and purchases over the years. I would highly recommend Lindsays.
Engaged Lindsays to execute my late aunt's will as I had no knowledge of procedures in Scotland. Partner Caroline Fraser was very helpful (and honest about timescales) and paralegal Pauline Easley has kept me informed of all developments throughout. I have been very happy with the service provided.

We used Lindsay's in Dundee for our recent property sale and purchase and had Lisa Mannion acting on our behalf. In order to avoid missing out on the house we wanted which was moving to a closing date, we needed to move quickly. Lisa couldn't have been more helpful in getting everything in place to ensure we were in a strong position to submit an offer which was ultimately successful. The service provided by Lisa felt personal and like she completely understood our individual needs and I believe she went above and beyond in her engagement with the selling solicitors to ensure we were seen as the preferred bidder at the closing date. All in all, Lisa helped us go from considering moving to being in our new house within around 6/7 weeks and we couldn't be more thankful for her help.

Used Lindsays as my solicitors for purchasing a flat in Dundee. Zoe was the senior solicitor and with her I really felt in safe hands. She was always warm, helpful, clear / timely communications , juggled many balls through the process and didn't drop one of them. Really appreciated the smooth experience and will return for future legal support.
I have worked with Lindsays on and off over the last 20 years, I go back every time due to the excellent service they provide. Whoever I speak to is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and so very helpful. The sale of my house could not have been more straight forward and I have greatly appreciated having direct contact with our lawyer - Zoe Allan. Will be back again no doubt if I need anything else!

Excellent advice and service received
I feel that I need to share this review of Lindsays. I had a very difficult Legal Rights claim to deal with and was not really getting anywhere with the solicitor's that were handling the estate that I was making my legal rights claim from. After approximately a year, I realised that it would probably never move forward in my favour in relation to getting my entitlement and claim settled. I was fortunate enough to contact Lindsays, explain my situation to a lady by the name of Lauren McGhie who is one of their Senior Associates and she took my claim on. Lauren, along with her colleague Philippa Abernethy, a very knowledgeable lady in this type of law, resolved my claim with the "other" solicitors and I have just received my full entitlement in regard to my legal rights claim. I can not thank these 2 very professional ladies enough for their input, knowledge, attention (I was always updated with proceedings) and general commitment to getting this over the line for me. I really can't speak highly of them enough. Many thanks Lauren & Philippa. I would highly recommend them. 5 stars from me !!
