We’ve just sold our late father’s home through Flint Bishop. The transaction involved additional complexity because I was acting under a Lasting Power of Attorney, which required extra documentation, including certification of origin documents and other formal verifications. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Jacqueline Byrd and her assistant, Jade Brumpton, during the conveyancing process for the sale of myfather's property. Despite these additional requirements, Jacqueline handled everything with professionalism, clarity, and patience, ensuring that each stage of the process was explained and managed efficiently. Partway through the transaction, Jacqueline’s previous firm closed. This situation was completely outside of her control, yet it could easily have caused disruption or uncertainty. However, I was able to track her down when she moved to a new firm, and I specifically chose to continue working with her because of the trust and confidence she had already established. I am very glad that I did. Throughout the process, Jacqueline and Jade were consistently supportive, responsive, and supportive. Their communication was clear, and they dealt with what could have been a stressful and complicated sale with professionalism and care. As a small token of my appreciation for their hard work and dedication, I sent flowers to both Jacqueline and Jade to thank them for the excellent support they provided throughout the process. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Walked in not really knowing what to expect, but came away feeling a lot more settled about everything. Jane Shepherd kept things simple and didn’t overcomplicate it, which helped more than anything.

KEVIN PARKIN A complex property, probate and power of attorney was handled by a superbly professional, integrated and pleasant team. Complex issues were explained in simple language and thorough explanations were given for each part of the process. The law can be very complicated to those of us unfamiliar with specific duties placed upon individuals - the whole team helped with both our understanding and made the process a very smooth event. Fantastic stress free service from Sukhy and her conveyancing team , including Michelle , Sarah & Lauren .They made the selling of our mothers property easy , with efficiency and care to detail .Communication was fast and we were kept updated at every step . Highly recommended
Sukhy was brilliant throughout the purchase of our new home. Her conveyancing knowledge was excellent, but what really stood out was her responsiveness. Every time I called, she answered the phone, dealt with my query there and then, and kept things moving. There were no voicemail messages, no chasing for updates, and no waiting around for call backs. Buying a property can be stressful, but Sukhy made the whole process feel straightforward and under control. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and genuinely client-focused conveyancing solicitor.
Absolutely cannot fault the service we’ve received from Lisa Wills at Flint Bishop. We’d unfortunately been left with an outstanding issue following a house purchase, when our original solicitor closed without notice, so had to instruct a new solicitor to deal with this. Lisa was helpful, informative and the communication was excellent, leaving us feeling very confident that she would get things done and as quickly as possible. Would highly recommend and would happily use again in the future.

Our original buyer used this solicitors and mine got really quite frustrated with their lack of promptness in replying to emails and queries. I tried once to request directly very politely that they please reply to my solicitor with an update (as they'd been ignoring her for several days) and the Flint Bisbop person was extremely rude in response. The tone they used was totally unnecessary, unprofessional and the person at Flint Bishop could have chosen to be polite, even if their reply would have been the same. I wasn't trying to create a problem, but was anxiously awaiting a reply. After that incident, Flint Bishop seemed to delay everything from moving along for quite a while which caused significant anxiety. The sale eventually fell apart. For this reason I think it's important to let people know that it's worth choosing a different firm to move house with as I wouldn't recommend this firm, due to lack of contact to mine.

Flint Bishop contacted our company regarding an alleged debt supposedly associated with a company with which we have never had any contractual relationship or account. From the outset, we have explained that we do not recognise the debt and have requested documentation demonstrating the alleged contract, the relationship with our company, and the basis and origin of the amount being claimed. What is particularly concerning is that the name of the company stated in their claim does not even match the name of our company. Despite our repeated requests for evidence and clarification, rather than providing documentation demonstrating that the debt genuinely relates to our company, the response we have received has essentially been that legal proceedings may be initiated if we do not make payment. We consider it entirely reasonable that, before threatening legal action against a company, it should first be established that the claim is being made against the correct legal entity and that there is appropriate documentation to substantiate the alleged debt. We hope Flint Bishop will review this matter and provide the evidence we have requested, or cease pursuing a debt that we do not recognise. Our experience so far has been very negative, particularly given the lack of supporting documentation and the fact that the details of the company named in the claim do not even correspond with those of our company. It's also very curious that I've read many reviews with this same problem.
I have never come across a company where the level of incompetence is quite so remarkable. The service has been extremely disappointing, with poor communication, a lack of professionalism, and very little sense of accountability. Overall, a deeply frustrating experience that I would not recommend to anyone.
