I have twice used the services of JCP Solicitors. On the first occasion Mrs Sarah Davies offered an excellent service of professional advice and guidance. She visited our home and was absolutely delightful and so very supportive. Last week I had another legal issue that was distressing and confusing so I returned to JCP Solicitors asking Mrs Davies advice and she referred me to one of her colleagues who is experienced in the matter I wanted dealt with. I was given by Mrs Karen Rees at JCP a superb 5 star, first class service of professional advice and guidance but also on a personal level was supported with thoughtful kindness by an absolutely lovely lady. JCP obviously are skilled at staff selection as they have chosen absolute STARS 🌟🌟 when choosing Mrs Sarah Davies and Mrs Karen Rees. I THANK BOTH of these professional women as it has been a privilege to have the opportunity of contact with them at JCP.

Avoid at all costs! Engaged them regarding a name change over a year ago. The solicitors dealing with the paperwork constantly made mistakes (the first was rejected and returned by the courts) meaning that I had to re-attend their offices for corrections three times each with my wife, taking time off work and incurring travel costs. They have now asked me to re-attend again (this will be the 4th time) because of another mistake. What's worse is that I have copied in Hayley Davies, the CEO, in my last communications complaining about the matter and I have been ignored. I wanted to use a solicitor to ensure that the matter/paperwork was completed correctly and swiftly... I should have done it myself. No attention to detail, and poor customer service.

Although JCP Solicitors has evolved over many years from the original company of Murray, Evans & Clinch that I first used in 1964, the standard of service has never varied from the high level it was then to the same high standard that Cheerie Powell awarded me in the writing of my Will. Her knowledge of all aspects was spectacular giving one the comfort that you were in very safe hands. I cannot thank the team enough for the outstanding service they provided throughout the sale of my property. For me, communication is one of the most important aspects of any professional service, and they were exceptional from start to finish. Edwina and Angharad have carried out the conveyancing several times now, for both purchasing and selling property. It is a breath of fresh air to deal with them compared to experiences we've had in the past with other solicitors. They are both friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Communication is excellent as you can always reach them on the phone or via email.

Average service so far Quite slow at responding, with some responses taking over a week and prompting to respond, and a lot of questions just slip through the cracks with no response. Typical of a lot of conveyancers recently it seems. Too high a case load I guess

I would love to be able to say my experience with JCP was a great one but so far not so good. We made a big effort to go to the branch in Carmarthen yesterday and saw a lovely receptionist who said that somebody would call us back so that we could have a meeting with a solicitor. We’ve heard nothing back from them and when I phoned today, I got a call Centre in Swansea who were extremely vague and said they would put me through to some customer care unit not what I wanted. Hey we’ll keep looking for a solicitor.
