My case for clinical negligence was accepted by Brindley Twist Tafft and James. Julia French was the first solicitor representing me. Julia was professional, objective and understanding always making sure I understood each part of this procedure. Julia also travelled to Bromley and spent hours with me checking all the points raised in my claim. Julia was always prompt in continuing the claim and keeping me updated. Julia French left B T T James after several months. I was then contacted by Adam who informed me that he would be responsible for supporting me in my claim. Again, I really have to commend Adam for his professional but also extremely patient and kind support. Adam was diligent in keeping me quickly updated on trying to contact the solicitors for Khalida Aly. Khalida Aly continually tried to avoid submitting answers to requested information which prolonged the case. As Adam kept constant contact with me via email, telephone calls and conferences via Zoom it helped me greatly with a very very distressing experience. I feel that I was extremely fortunate to have had this firm of solicitors to support my case.

I contacted BTTJ with a medical negligence claims when I was still grieving and being thrown medical jargon about my fathers unexpected death. They were open and honest and helped me understand the options but also the limitations of a claim. They were there throughout the hospital investigation and inquest to talk through outcomes and explain medical and legal implications. It made a difficult and unknown process easier to navigate. Sadly, and not through the fault of BTTJ, the payout was lower than we’d hoped but again this was fully explained, challenged and other options explored. I felt fully supported throughout the process and trusted their judgement and experience. The best outcome for us as a family was to get an apology and BTTJ were able to get this formally for us which gave a sense of closure. Thank you for all your help.

I have almost closed a case with Brindley Twist Tafft & James, and I'm pleased to say my case was successful and the solicitor (Richard Stanford) was very helpful. I had injured my right knee as a result of playing football in August 2014, and had surgery on the knee in the spring/summer of 2015. As a result, however, I picked up infection and my knee required a further 5 surgeries after being diagnosed with septic arthritis. I filled out a form on google about my injury, and I was put in touch with Richard, who I provided details to, of my medical history in relation to my knee. Richard went over these details and immediately established where the faults lay, put me in touch with medical experts (radiology and orthopaedic surgeon), who provided good advice on the case and helped me and my family answer the questions that needed answering. Richard was thorough in his treatment of my case, and performed his role as a solicitor extremely well in order to help me gain the compensation I deserved - something I will always be grateful for. Over the phone and by email, Richard was always available. I wasn't aware of this firm before my case, but I certainly am now! Richard has been great for me, but as I can see from the website BTTJ are a firm who specialise in all kinds of negligence, and have a good team of solicitors which Richard is a part of.
