Great Solicitors

When my late brother passed away I was in a whirlwind and thrown in the deep end and didn't have a clue what to do, but I rang a few solicitors up and only Ramsdens was the only one that got back in touch when I left a message.
Luckily Sarah called back and put me at ease and explained everything to me which was fantastic and she calmed me down as I was frantic lol..
Overall experience was fantastic from start to finish.
They explained every single process that needed doing.
Great service from all the team especially from Sarah and Ivana.
Thank you dealing with this for me.

First Class Service

My Aunt's Probate was handled by Ivana Bailey and assisted by Sarah Watson. The service from the outset was polite, professional and ultimately very pleasurable. Both were extremely approachable and provided advice and guidance throughout. I was kept informed on a regular basis with clear, relevant and coherent updates which provided me with a great sense of confidence. At the outset it was explained to myself that my Aunt's last Will (produced elsewhere) was invalid as it was undated but they had been able to retrieve a prior Will that had been laid with yourselves and that they would proceed with this.
This saved a huge problem and the legalities were explained fully and in clear English.
I was fully aware of what was happening throughout the whole process and both Ivana and Sarah strove to keep me updated even when I was abroad for four months and only had access to a phone. This I found very professional. The sale of my Aunt's house was also undertaken by Ramsdens whilst I was abroad and this could not have gone smoother despite the circumstances. Before the conclusion of my Aunt's Probate, the case was referred to HMRC. I was informed immediately that this would likely take some time. It did, but I had been prepared for it by Ivana and Sarah who diligently chased them throughout the whole process, eventually leading to HMRC dealing with my Aunt's case as a priority.
The whole process overseen by Ivana and Sarah was so smooth it left me feeling incredibly looked after and satisfied at its conclusion.
Both Ivana and Sarah were a credit to yourselves and I would like commend them for their professional service.
It was a pleasure to have them handle my Aunt's Probate.
I would certainly recommend Ramsdens and would definitely use again.

Difficult for us as my mother died quite suddenly a few days after I had arrived back in Australia. We had to fly back to UK and sort things out quickly. It was good to have someone friendly and approachable acting for us.

Totally pain-free experience

Jolene and her team are excellent, I cannot rate them highly enough. From start to finish this project was handled in a friendly and professional manner and everything was as smooth as we could possibly have asked for. It isn't the first time we've used Jolene and Ramsden's and it certainly won't be the last. A very happy client.

I can't speak highly enough of the incredible service provided by Ivana Bailey at Ramsdens Solicitors. When my family was faced with the overwhelming task of sorting out the estate of our deceased Aunt, Ivana stepped in and supported us every step of the way. From the very first consultation, her professionalism, empathy, and expertise were evident.

Ivana meticulously managed all aspects of the estate, ensuring that every detail was attended to with the utmost care and precision. She and her Team handled complex legal matters with ease, always keeping us informed and explaining everything in a clear, understandable manner. Their support extended beyond just the legalities; they showed genuine compassion and understanding, making a difficult time a little more bearable.

Good communication, consistent, personal service.

We recently used Ramsdens (Elland office) to complete our sale and purchase conveyancing.

Our transactions were handled by Jolene Briggs and her team from instruction to completion.

Communication was consistent throughout and increased at times where required.

Following the date for completion being decided there was some challenges with our buyers solicitors however Jolene was on hand to support and ensured we completed on time.

Really great, local firm.

I contacted Ramsdens solicitors to see if they would take on my Medical negligence claim due to them been local I provided them with all the information on the phone due to it being numerous medical problems involved I informed them of the paperwork I had and I needed to have a appointment to show them the paperwork and fully explain the full details of the case but they claimed they would not take on the case because it was not a 110 percent case without seeing all the documentation I had so their no win no fee is a farce they need you to be on crutches or in a wheelchair so it looks like I will have to go further afield to find a decent solicitor instead of a local solicitor so stay well away from Ramsdens if you want a solicitor who cares about local people and help people with serious medical issues in Elland how can they refuse to at least let you have a half hour appointment to go through the documents to fully understand ALL the evidence if you need a good solicitor don’t use Ramsdens

We were referred by our estate agent for the sale of our house. We were so impressed at the speed they got things going and their service we asked them to handle the purchase of our new property as well. Rachel, Andrew, Taylor and the rest of the team were great at getting everything sorted. We received really quick replies to any emails we sent. We would highly recommend Ramsdens conveyancing team in Elland. Jolene and the team did a fantastic job to ensure our house sale and purchase went smoothly and without any delays.
