Our experience with Ison Harrison has been extremely stressful and disappointing. We were assigned a solicitor who, in our case, provided information that turned out to be inaccurate on several occasions. As a result, we incurred unexpected additional costs of approximately £6,500 during our house purchase. Following this, our case was passed to another solicitor. After completion and moving into the property, we were contacted two weeks later and informed that there had been a calculation error and we now owed a further £1,083. We challenged this, as the mistake was not ours. The complaint was escalated to a manager, who advised us to contact the Ombudsman, which we have done and are currently awaiting a response. While waiting for the Ombudsman’s outcome, we then received an email stating that if we did not pay half of the amount within 7 days, the matter would be passed to an external agency, which could affect our credit rating. We have attempted to contact Ison Harrison multiple times by phone and email following that message, but we have not received a response. This entire situation has caused significant stress after what should have been a positive milestone. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend ensuring that all costs are clarified in writing and that you request clear confirmations at every stage. We are hopeful the Ombudsman will help resolve this fairly.

I wouldn't use this company if it was the last company on earth, communication was shocking left weeks without returning our calls, rude, totally unprofessional even to the point of our solicitor sighing documents on our behalf which was never agreed. Also Loved to send a big bill every few weeks for work that had not been done. Dragged our case out longer than it should have ever gone on for 18 months later we swapped to a different solicitors and our case was done in no time

My sale turned out to be far more challenging than expected, with two sales falling through and the eventual buyer's solicitor causing significant delays through poor communication and a lack of responsiveness. Throughout the process, Lorna & Harriet were professional, proactive and incredibly supportive. They regularly chased for updates, kept me fully informed, and responded promptly whenever I had questions. Most importantly, they showed genuine understanding and compassion during what became a very stressful and uncertain process. This is a lengthy review, but I encourage anyone considering spending a significant amount of money on legal representation to read it carefully. My name is Dr. Malek Mohsen. I am sharing my personal experience with Jonathan Robson, Amardeep Dhillon, Ervin Shakaj, and Ison Harrison. If anyone would like to discuss my experience before instructing any of these individuals or this firm, I would be happy to provide further information.here is my mobile 0789 4252 909 My case began after a recommendation from my solicitor, who referred me to Ison Harrison, specifically Mr. Jonathan Robson. During our initial discussions, he appeared to understand the matter well and advised that, even in the event of losing, my costs would likely not exceed £16,000. I was also informed that I had a strong case supported by witnesses and documentary evidence. I was told that the matter could take some time to reach court, but I was not prepared for the process to continue for several years while legal costs continued to increase. During the course of the case, communication was often inconsistent, and there were extended periods when I received little or no update regarding progress. At one stage, I was referred to counsel, Mr. Amardeep Dhillon, to assess the merits of the case. Unfortunately, my experience of this consultation was disappointing. Despite being charged approximately £2,000 for a one-hour conference, I felt that important aspects of the case had not been fully understood, and several key facts appeared to be misunderstood. As the case progressed, I identified what I believed were errors in documents prepared for court, including issues relating to wording, figures, and dates. When these concerns were raised, I was advised that further meetings with counsel would be required to amend the documents, resulting in additional costs. I found this particularly frustrating as I believed these issues should have been identified and corrected before the documents were provided to me. Another difficulty was the timing of communications. Important documents, often lengthy and complex, were frequently sent late on Fridays with requests for urgent review and response by Monday. Given the volume and complexity of the material, I found it challenging to provide meaningful feedback within such short timeframes. Subsequently, I was referred to Mr. Ervin Shakaj. My expectation was that this would improve the handling of the case and potentially reduce costs. However, I felt that he did not fully appreciate the strengths of the claim and appeared focused on encouraging settlement rather than pursuing the matter through litigation. Throughout the case, I was frequently encouraged to compromise or abandon the claim, despite my belief that there remained reasonable prospects of success. Communication under Mr. Shakaj's management also presented difficulties. Documents that had previously been provided appeared to be requested again, requiring me to resubmit substantial amounts of information. In addition, I often received emails requiring urgent responses while travelling abroad, making it difficult to manage the case effectively. The most disappointing aspect of the matter was the outcome of settlement negotiations. We initially sought approximately £5,000 from the opposing party, yet ultimately reached a settlement requiring me to pay £35,000, despite the case never proceeding to trial. The opposing party's initial position was reportedly between £42,000 and £48,000, eventually settling at £35,000. Given the substantial legal fees I had already incurred, I found this outcome extremely difficult to accept. Over the course of the matter, I paid approximately £20,000 in legal fees, only to be repeatedly advised to settle and abandon the claim. At no stage did I feel confident that my legal team believed in the merits of the case or intended to pursue it vigorously through the court process. I continue to believe that my case had merit and that the UK court system provides a fair opportunity for disputes to be resolved. My dissatisfaction relates not to the legal system itself, but to my experience with the professionals involved in my representation. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions. Others may have different experiences. However, based on the significant financial and emotional investment involved, I believe potential clients should carefully consider their options and conduct thorough research before making a decision. I have now had the pleasure of buying and selling a property through Ison's - on both accounts their team, structure and process have been outstanding. While other firms are [rightly] criticised for online platforms, lack of communication, and a whole range of ambiguity around stages and processes, from the off both Tyler and Nefisa have provided a service that has surpassed my expectations by a considerable margin. Emails receive almost instant replies, updates are available and ready at hand, communication is fantastic and nothing ever feels like you are asking too much - this is, in my opinion, the definition of exceptional service, you feel at the forfront of their considerations. Where challenges or delays do arise, these are clearly conveyed to you with updated timeframes and parameters whilst maintaining realistic timings and expectations. I could not have hoped for two easier transactions - to anyone searching for a good, reliable solicitor(s) for any conveyancing needs, your search has come to an end - instruct Ison's, they are excellent. [As a note, I could not find Tyler Lewis under the selection below, as they have been the central point of contact, please ensure this feedback is recognised within their report, they were exceptional].
