David Gray at the firm has been excellent. His advise was clear; assured; knowledgeable; and easy to understand. Phone calls and emails were both friendly and professional. David took on board straight away my questions and knew exactly what was at issue. It was also easy to get in touch with David. He was available to help and quick to respond. All paper work and admin matters were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The billing structure at Gilson Gray was also transparent and reasonable. Utterly usless. Our solicitor cant make contact. Our Buyers cant make contact and our estate agent cant get through. Contracts have been exchanged but no contact since. After being pased to a voicemail box numberous times I managed to make contact only to be told they cant speak to me. My solicitor since tried again and had no success.

Firstly I am 49, a business man and this is the first review I have ever left. Please be very cautious when considering this firm, I was over charged/ripped off for a very simple Co. name change on a document previously produced by GG to the tune of over £2k , when queried got zero response or even an attempt at justifying the hours charged. Grudgingly paid the bill to be invoiced three weeks later for interest of £52 and a late payment charge of £720.over the course I replied to every email within hours reassuring I would pay but needed an explanation which was ignored constantly, the only attempted being made finally by credit control months later but still no justification of how it takes over 10 hours to change one name on a document the size of one A4 sheet of paper. I have had a blue chip credit status all my life, I would sincerely stay away from this company. there service and advice is mediocre to slow with the fee scale of a top end practice.
