Jo Reader made the sale of my house entirely stress-free. I do not live in the UK, where the house sale was taking place; this set its own complications from the off, yet Jo affably and professionally navigated them. When I repeatedly apologised for late return of documents due to 2 broken printers in my house, she patiently waited and told me not to apologise. But it was her skillful negotiations with a truculent ground rent entity that was the sublime icing on the conveyancing cake. He went from adamantly obstinate to rather sweet and agreeable. It has not only been a pleasure working with her she made what is expected to be a stressful time, nothing of the sort. Great and timely communication, calm professionalism and evident experience and capability. Would I reccommend her and? I most certainly would.

I cannot recommend Lois Stacey and the team at Clifton Ingram highly enough. They assisted us with a particularly difficult and protracted landlord/tenant possession matter, which involved a number of complications along the way. From the outset, Lois was extremely professional, knowledgeable and responsive. She took the time to explain the legal position clearly, provided practical advice throughout and was always very patient in answering my questions, even when the situation became increasingly frustrating. What I particularly appreciated was that Lois was not simply focused on the legal process, but also on finding the most sensible and proportionate way forward given the circumstances. Her guidance before and after the hearing was invaluable, and she handled the matter with a level of professionalism and care that gave us considerable confidence throughout. David Goddard, who initially assisted with the matter, was also very helpful and professional. Disappointing Experience Extremely poor experience with this firm. Communication was almost non-existent—calls and emails were consistently ignored, leaving me in the dark for weeks at a time. To make matters worse, I was given dishonest updates and misleading information about the progress of my case. A total lack of professionalism and integrity. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for legal representation.
