If you are looking for an outstanding education solicitor look no further than Samantha Trowbridge at Richard Nelsons Solicitors (and her assistant Trudi Salmon) . Navigating the SEN and EHCP system is a minefield and mentally exhausting to the point where you feel broken. Samantha managed to balance brilliant legal strategy with profound empathy, it was as if she was fighting for her own child. She made us feel like we were a team, and she was the captain. When we thought there was no way we could get a favourable outcome, she never gave up the fight, even though we thought we were losing, she gave us hope, and that is what we held on to. She made us feel seen and supported every step of the way. Her (and Trudi's ) communication and support was beyond excellent, and she successfully won our case. I cannot thank her enough for securing an amazing education for my grandson in a specialist school. He now has a chance to be the best he can be and a happy school life. Avoid this firm for police cautions and arrest record deletions. I used Marua Anthony to delete my caution. The process was incredibly slow. I had to keep chasing her and she was very unreliable. After 1 year if waiting, inly to hear that thr Poice refused to delete my record. I was really upset and also received a mind to bar letter from the DBS, something that Maria Anthony had failed to warn me about. I eventually had to find another solicitor which cost me even more money. When the new lawyer reviewed my case, they were appalled by the poor quality of the work done by Maria Anthony which showed she was incompetent and completely inadequate in this field. My caution was removed by the new lawyer. I regtet not using them in the first place which would have saved me time and money.

As a lawyer myself it was interesting for me to see things from the other side. I did not expect to be in a position to need the advice I required but was so relieved to find Steve Roberts - an extremely competent, calm and personable solicitor who put me at my ease within minutes of speaking to him. I am so glad I instructed someone else instead of dealing with the case myself- his written response was extremely succinct and well put. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
