Axis Solicitors have been outstanding from start to finish on my asylum case, and I am now officially recognised as a refugee in the UK thanks to their work. I felt supported, well prepared and genuinely cared for at every step. Vani has been exceptional. She is extremely organised, compassionate, clear and patient. She kept me updated, worked really hard and weekends when drafting the PAPs, and reassured me whenever I was anxious. I always felt I am in safe hands. Alanta has also been brilliant. I believe her supervision and professionalism made a huge difference during the time. I also want to thank Khalid, a previous solicitor at Axis, who worked with me earlier in the process and helped shape the foundation of my case. His early support and guidance were very important. I huge shoutout to Saba for dealing with my husband’s spousal visa. It has been a long journey, and Axis was part of our journey from the beginning ( when my husband came on tourist visa) in successfully achieving an overturn when my husbands visa application was rejected the first time! We knew from there on, that we would continue to use Axis solicitors. Fast forward to this year, Saba was our case handler for the spousal visa from start to finish, she was super helpful, kept us informed and gave her expertise advice on all things spousal visa + informing us of risks and guiding us through the application and sorting it all out! We felt like we could trust them to do everything with excellence and boy did they come through because today we received our approval from the home office, and I cannot stress how grateful I am for Saba’s service, guidance and knowledge! I am writing this review to strongly warn anyone considering using Axis Solicitors, especially for immigration and bail matters. My experience with this firm has been an absolute nightmare. We paid them almost £6,000 based on their promises and assurances that they would handle my friend’s immigration case and get him released on bail. Instead, we were strung along for 4 months with constant excuses and false promises that "everything would be resolved next week." Their level of incompetence is astounding: Unprepared Barrister: The barrister they assigned showed up to the court hearing having read the case files just 5 minutes prior. He literally admitted to the judge that he didn't even know how long my friend had been in detention. Due to this complete lack of preparation, the bail application was refused. Lack of Transparency: After the disastrous hearing, I requested proof multiple times via email showing when Axis Solicitors actually transferred the case file to the barrister. They refused to provide it. Unqualified Staff: The caseworkers and staff in their office are completely clueless. On multiple occasions, the caseworker handling the case actually called me to ask who the prosecuting officer/case officer was—information that any competent solicitor has the direct authority and responsibility to request themselves. Axis Solicitors took thousands of pounds, gave false hopes, provided incompetent representation, and ultimately ruined a crucial bail hearing due to sheer negligence. Do not trust them with your money, your legal matters, or your loved ones' freedom. Avoid them at all costs.

Firstly, the statement that Axis Solicitors charged or received almost £6,000 for this matter is incorrect. We would, however, like to clarify a number of factual inaccuracies in your review. Our total legal fee quoted for the bail application was £1,500, of which £750 (50%) was paid to Axis Solicitors. The barrister's fee of £500 was paid separately. At no stage did Axis Solicitors quote or receive £6,000 in legal fees for this matter. Secondly, we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that you were guaranteed a successful outcome. At the initial meeting with your caseworker, it was clearly explained that a bail application could either be granted or refused, as the final decision always rests with the Tribunal. It would be contrary to our professional obligations to guarantee the outcome of any legal proceedings. We also do not accept the assertion that counsel attended the hearing unprepared. The barrister instructed in this matter had reviewed the case and represented your friend's interests at the hearing. We are disappointed that you felt unsupported during the process. Immigration detention and bail matters are often complex, fast-moving, and emotionally challenging, and we appreciate how stressful this experience must have been for everyone involved. Our team remained committed to progressing the matter and keeping you informed throughout. We value all client feedback as it helps us improve our services. Should you wish to discuss your concerns further, we would welcome the opportunity to do so directly and work towards resolving any outstanding issues.

do not recommend this personal injury solicitor firm. I did not receive proper support to claim back my financial losses and travel expenses. The solicitor handling my case told me that if I wished to claim these costs, I would need to pay for an independent expert myself. In my view, my personal injury solicitor should have dealt with my loss of earnings and travel costs directly. I had already sent them all my payslips, but they appeared to lack the knowledge or ability to review and process these claims further. I was left with no choice but to accept the compensation offered without recovering my lost earnings or travel expenses. I have now been off work for a whole year, and simply cannot afford to pay for an expert out of my own pocket.
