Very professional and compassionate

Loosing a loved one is tragic, especially following an accident for which someone else is responsible. Seeking equitable financial compensation could be a very stressful process, we chose Potter Rees Dolan to act on our behalf.

Their team was very compassionate and understanding, thorough and exceedingly professional. Their communication throughout a four year process was constantly reassuring and the end result exceeded our expectations.

Our grateful thanks.

John and family.

Trustworthy firm

Following being attacked in a traumatic armed robbery at my work place, I suffered from both mental and physical injuries. I was rejected two times for benefit claim to support me with my difficult life, part of it due to my PTSDA which led me not be able to explain my difficulties as it was a trigger to remind me the attack.
At one point I found Potter Rees Dolan through google search, and while I didn’t have much hope, it all turned out to believe there are still good people who help others.
Peter Renshaw assisted me with my appeal. If he wasn’t there I probably never came this far and just lived my difficult life. However with all his professionalism and caring manner he encouraged me to appeal the decision, patiently explained the procedure and advised me all through the way. The appeal was allowed by the judge and this could not happened if Peter Renshaw did not support me with my case.
I highly recommend PRD and specifically Peter Renshaw and his team.

Catastrophic injury case

Living with catastrophic injuries is a daily struggle for me and Potter Rees Dolan have provided me with incredible support from the beginning. My solicitor Mark Robinson is always on the end of the phone to talk to me through-out my case, even if I just need reassurance and mental support he has been there to steady me on my most difficult days. I could not recommend them highly enough, I have a number of severe and unusual injuries but the team at Potter Rees Dolan have made sure that in addition to my case progressing with the right medical experts they are highly focussed on what I will need for my future care and mental health. They have also provided me with full support during the PIP process to help my family financially which I couldn’t have won without the experience and kind support of Suzanne Sutcliffe in the PRD welfare team. The legal process with catastrophic injuries takes a long time, every day is hard for me and my family and I cannot stress enough how comforting and reassuring it has been to have the team at Potter Rees Dolan behind me so far.

Excellent service

From start to finish Potter, Rees, Dolan made my negligence claim as easy as it could have been for me. I already knew of the firm and did not hesitate to choose them to represent me after our initial consultation. Their service throughout was professional yet personal and communication was excellent. With a lesser firm I may have given up during an extremely stressful process, but Lesley and Kelly could not have done more to allay this. At the end of this challenging process they managed to secure an exceptional outcome for me.

10 out of 10!

Thankyou so very much for taking on our case after neglect & mismanagement from another firm. We are extremely happy with our outcome & future. Not just Mark Robinson, but all that stepped in to help & continue to provide guidance & advice. I would not consider approaching other Solicitors after our experience.
If you’ve a legal problem, they’ve got the expert to help.

Headway benefits review

After many years of disabilty I had been made extra ill by the benefits agency. I had been through the system and had used Welfare Rights, who were really helpful, but did not understand my disabilty. It was vertually impossible to even get their to see them as I had not been out of my home town for so long. This took a few years then I remembered Headway, and Rachel Rees put my in touch with Potter Rees Dolan, who were a lifeline. My contact Suzanne Sutcliffe, was so easy to talk to and took dealing with the DWP out of my hands. The result is I can now try and move on with my life, and feel vindicated for all the years of suffering.

Excellent Firm - Highly Recommended

PRD took over a highly complex case from another firm of solicitors who we did not feel were progressing it to a high enough standard. From the start to the end their service was faultless. Communication, advice, guidance and advocacy were superb, from every member of staff we dealt with, and this all resulted in a great outcome. We are so grateful to everyone involved.

Mark Robinson. Excellent service from start to finish. Dealt with the same solicitor and secretary all the way through my claim. They were always polite and professional and explained everything properly. My claim was paid in full and promptly transferred to my bank account. Very happy all round. I would highly recommend this firm and Mark in particular.

After having awful experiences with two prior firms of solicitors, who’d mismanaged my civil case, I’d almost lost hope in receiving justice for the neglect and physical abuse I’d suffered whilst in Local Authority care.

I approached Hugh Potter (of Potter Rees Dolan) as a last resort and in a state of absolute despair. Hugh not only took on my case - which no one else would touch - and despite the way it had previously been mis m-managed, he systematically turned it round and made it viable again.

Hugh Potter showed immense empathy and a sincere dedication to my pursuit of justice and restored my faith in the legal process. As such, we won a case that others has said was “Un-winnable”, securing not only substantial compensation for his client but also a public apology from the Local Authority for my appalling treatment whilst in their so-called care.

I would have no hesitation at all in highly recommending Potter Rees Dolan as a firm of high integrity, exceptional client care and impeccable professionalism.

I was given details of Potter Rees Dolan after contacting Headway - the National Charity for Brain Injured people. My son suffered a traumatic brain injury after a bicycle accident and we needed help and guidance to fight a benefit appeal. Peter Renshaw of Potter Rees Dolan took on our case and worked tirelessly and with outstanding professionalism to achieve a successful outcome. I know that to have Potter Rees Dolan fighting our cause made all the difference and all the work was undertaken on a pro bono basis.
I have no hesitation in recommending this amazing firm of solicitors.
