We really don’t know where to start here but in short we would highly recommend that you use a local firm where possible for your sale and purchase. We learned so much about the legalities of selling our new home (8 years old) with regards to Estate management companies and the stranglehold that they have over your property. A 6 months sales process is beyond laughable given how other countries, such as Scotland, is I believe around 2 months. We would add, as much as we would not recommend this firm, we would like to personally thank the team that helped us to eventually get over the line, we appreciate that they must work under extreme pressure and heavy case loads.

I’ve recently had the pleasure of having Gilson Gray assist me with a sale and a purchase of a property. Having sold and brought several times previous I can say that they have been by far in a way the best solicitors I’ve had to deal with. Heather who managed both my sale and purchase was fantastic. She was responsive, helpful, always kept us up to date and was able to get both the sale and purchase processed in a fairly quick timeframe. She certainly made the whole process a lot less stressful. I would certainly recommend Gilson Gray if you’re looking for a conveyancer for a house sale and/or purchase.

this was a very quick offer to completion purchase of eight weeks and at times extremely stressful, Cheryl and her team remained calm and collected ensuring all legalities were covered even when seller solicitor was not always available causing distress with inaccurate information and documentation

We sought advice on a family matter which we had described in some detail in an email, and spent 30 minutes with Ms Linda Pope via Teams. Ms Pope was exceptionally well briefed, had absorbed and understood our issues and gave us the clearest, most direct advice we had ever received from a lawyer.
