Very poor service no due diligence checks completed then resulting in me nearly loosing my house sale

Overall a very good and reliable firm. I had a little moment when I was slightly disappointed half way through the process since my solicitor went on annual leave and didn't inform me about that and there were about 3-4 who were passing it from one to the other, however, once I shared my concerns and Amanda became only solicitor to represent my case, everything fell into places and procedure was nice and easy. Highly recommend - especially Amanda.

Very helpful and great advice with doing my will.
These solicitors dealt with an uncooperative, hostile ex-partner to help me obtain a divorce. They did take some time to do get the process done, due to the ridiculousness of the situation, but ultimately they provided me with an excellent service with the understanding and support I needed to get through it. It was a frustrating experience, but one made better with the solicitors empathy towards my somewhat unique situation. If you're faced with an uncooperative ex-partner and need a divorce, I cannot recommend these enough. Thank you Ringrose.

I feel there could have been more verbal communication. The first problem we had, was about 5 to 6 weeks into the process, one of the staff actually rang asking why are we selling instead of the owner of the house. I said my mother died 2 months ago. They then asked for death certificate, which should have been asked for at the beginning. There was no apology or sorry for your loss. We only had a buyer, no chain but still took 5 months. If it wasn't our estate agent letting us know what was happening we would have been totally lost. She would say on a Monday, buyer solicitors have emailed Ringrose for certain information and Ringrose wouldn't get intouch with us until Friday afternoon. It would then take another week before anything was done. When any important information was needed from us I would take it personally to the receptionist hoping things would move quicker, but it didn't. When it came to asking when the buyers could move in, I said before 1st June as we were going on holiday. I felt we were ignored as they rang while we were away.
