I was very impressed how smoothly the whole process was from Emma and/or her legal assistants. I was never made to feel that I was being a nuisance, everyone I spoke to over the telephone was extremely polite & courteous. I was kept in the loop during the whole process, thus made it far less traumatic moving home. The bill was fair and I woul duse Red Kite again, adn recommend this company to friends.

We were kept up-to-date as the purchase of the property progressed. With the majority of the paperwork being done online.

Expect your bill to be 3x their estimate. For work they didn’t tell you they were going to carry out without your permission. They didn’t let me know they had spent all the money on account and then all of a sudden my bill was more than double .. They then charged me an additional 1k for reading an email asking for a further quote on another task for reviewing files without my consent. Absolutely heartbreaking to be honest. Adding more stress to my already heartbreakingly stressful situation. I genuinely wish I never got in contact with them.

I would strongly advise avoiding this firm for any property purchase. I was told 2–3 months, it took 7 months, and the whole process was chaotic and poorly managed. At one point I was days away from losing my mortgage offer due to their delays, and even completion was left to the last minute because “missing documents” were only noticed very late. Hannah, who handled my case, was rude and unhelpful throughout, which made an already stressful situation worse. Also, I had to change the boiler 1month after the purchase for her mistake. I can write a lecture of what I’ve been through from this firm and the lady I mentioned. If you want a smooth property purchase, go elsewhere. If you want stress and constant issues, this is the place!
