Extremely poor experience with Glover Priest. Glover Priest were the seller's solicitor during my first home purchase in January this year. Based on various emails and paperwork, it seems the seller was represented by Nadine Flynn and/or Megan Scott. I would not recommend anyone deal with these solicitors as they caused a significant amount of delay, wasted time, and general stress and anxiety. Glover Priest caused months of delay, at times due to forgetting key aspects of the process. Communications become irregular, short and unhelpful. I believe a complaint was raised against Glover Priest during this process, and I am not the only one who found their services to be of appalling quality. A timeline of issues: After making an offer in July 2025, we eventually waited around 6 weeks for the management information pack (required to make enquiries and progress the sale of the property). My solicitor and estate agent chased Megan/Nadine 5 times to no avail. It transpired they had "forgotten" to pay for the pack - presumably a common part of soliciting a property sale. Fast forwarding to December 2025, I had raised enquiries which were responded to and felt we were approaching a completion date. The sellers said they were ready to complete sooner than the 15th January, which had been suggested further up the chain. We then received a reply from Glover Priest, telling us it was unlikely that we would exchange before Christmas. I chased this via my solicitor in the new year. Suddenly, we told that we are no longer in a position to even discuss dates. This began a delay throughout the entirety of January which caused stress and anxiety that impacted my work and personal life. Glover Priest simply informed us they were not in a position to discuss dates. I asked my solicitor to chase this for any explanation why, and the reason given was that Glover Priest were finalising due diligence checks. After further chasing into January, the responses from Glover Priest became shorter and blunter. Why is it considered appropriate to provide no additional information on such a big transaction? Is it not in everyone's best interest to progress this sale? On the 8th of January, we were advised once again that Glover Priest weren't in a position to discuss dates. At this point I asked my solicitor to explain my tenancy was running out, and I had to make decisions about where I could actually live in between my rental running out, and finally getting into the flat I was buying. Glover Priest's responses had become so blunt that my solicitor commented on it. We finally completed on the 30th January, around 6.5 months after my offer was accepted. Around 6 weeks of this was due to Glover Priest forgetting to pay for the management information pack, and an additional 6 weeks around Christmas due to "due diligence". I appreciate that a lot goes into selling a flat, but this level of delay and lack of communication feels unacceptable.

We used Glover Priest for our first home purchase and cannot recommend them highly enough. Roxanne handled our case from start to finish and was absolutely outstanding throughout. As first time buyers, the conveyancing process felt daunting at times, but Roxanne kept us informed at every single stage, even when there was nothing to report, which made such a difference to our peace of mind. She navigated searches, enquiries, proof of funds and a tight completion timeline with complete professionalism and patience. Kelly also provided brilliant support behind the scenes and nothing was ever too much trouble. We completed on time and the whole experience was far less stressful than we anticipated. Huge thanks again to Roxanne and the team!

Incredible conveyancing team who truly fight for their clients! We recently used Kellie, Charlotte, & Cerys as our solicitors for our house purchase, and they were nothing short of brilliant throughout the entire process. When we received all our final documents back, it was clear just how hard they had fought in our corner as buyers to make sure we got the most for our money. They didn't miss a single detail - even scrutinizing and interrogating small fees on our behalf to ensure we weren't overpaying. We were so impressed!
