Disability Rights covers how people with disabilities are protected against discrimination and ensured access to services, employment and education. It includes claims under the Equality Act 2010 for unfair treatment, failure to make reasonable adjustments, or inaccessible goods and services. A solicitor advises on options, drafts and serves claims in the Employment Tribunal or county court, gathers medical and occupational evidence, negotiates settlements, and represents the client at hearings and appeals. Outcomes focus on removal of discriminatory barriers and securing fair treatment.
