We worked with Emma Slade at Slee Blackwell for nearly three years on a professional negligence claim. It was a long, complex, and at times emotionally exhausting process, but Emma’s professionalism and commitment never wavered. From the outset, Emma understood the merits of our case. We never felt we had to convince her. She saw what had gone wrong early on and pursued it with focus and determination throughout. Paula Isaac was also a great support, always responsive and helpful. The case was incredibly complex, with a huge amount of material to work through, much of it disorganised. Emma handled it with great care and attention, and it was clear throughout that we were in very capable hands. Joke of a firm. Elizabeth Duncan is the worst solicitor ever, I got £8,000 from a lawsuit that was worth £30,000 I paid for a consultation for a solicitor who read my court case against the NHS and he said that Elizabeth only put forward a clam with regards to the injury’s sustained and nothing else.

Elizabeth Duncan is an amazing solicitor, I can be very difficult when I feel something injustice has happened and she has remained helpful and professional every step of the way. She won my legal case against the NHS and went out of her way to communicate every aspect of the case with me as well as getting me the best outcome possible. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

I can’t thank Caroline and the team at Slee Blackwell enough. They could have easily turned me away, but they didn’t, instead they worked ferociously for five years on my case, booking appointments for me in London gathering expert opinions, having face to face and online meetings with me, keeping me up to date, and also explaining things clearly whenever I didn’t understand (which was often!). Just an incredible team. However, beyond this, I felt like they genuinely cared, which meant a lot more to me, as a legal journey inevitably brings up a lot, and they’re a very empathetic team.
