Absolute Life Saver - Highly Recommend
After a very unpleasant and disturbing breakdown in my relationship it looked like I was going to lose my home, a home that I had paid the whole deposit for and had paid the mortgage on my own for over 6 months. My ex partner would not sign the house over to me, even though there was no equity in it and he paid nothing toward the deposit, my mortgage deal was coming to an end, I was never going to be able to afford the new payments. Kirsty stepped in and literally saved the day, she contacted my ex and due to her professionalism and persistence he finally signed the papers. I can never thank her and her team enough, I can now enjoy my home with my baby girl without having to worry about losing it, I will be eternally grateful and cannot recommend Kirsty enough. If I could give 10 stars I would, I am so happy!!

Death of our parents and their property sale
Following the death previously of my Mum and more recently Dad, Slee Blackwell have been very helpful and extremely understanding helping us navigate our way through sorting probate etc. The advice given was invaluable and very much appreciated. We then used the conveyancing team to deal with the sale of Dad's bungalow and again, they have been brilliant with their help. Responding to queries to help us navigate our way through the minefield of legal questions asked of us by the buyers' solicitors. The sale has gone through relatively quick, with minimum hassle, at what has been a difficult and emotional time for our family.

Professional Negligence
When in despair !
Unfortunately, out of the blue I found myself in a desperate, and what I thought was looking to be a massive life changing situation financially for me. I approached Slee Blackwell as I had used them years before in the seamless purchase of a property, and their service was excellent. From the receptionist putting my call through to Paula (Emma's secretary) I received a preliminary call back from Emma within 20mins. After explaining the situation briefly, Emma kindly arranged a site visit to my offices within days to establish the true facts of the situation, and after 30minutes, I really couldn't believe the weight she took from my shoulders. I have to say , her professionalism, knowledge, understanding and kindness were outstanding, I would say beyond the call of duty, it was at that point I asked her to please handle proceedings! Throughout the case, this lady can bury the opposition with her retort of wording in correspondence ! I felt blessed and relieved she was on my side. I could write for 100 pages how literally she held my hand to an extraordinary outcome in my favour, that on day one, I couldn't see through the trees. Emma Slade is the most remarkable solicitor I have ever been on side with along with her fabulous secretary Paula. I hope an occasion never arises again, but little does she know , I have her on speed dial, just in case. As a local business owner, I would like to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, but hope Emma reads this and will know exactly who I am, and how eternally grateful I am for all her skills and professionalism.
