Outstanding service and professionalism

Experience with dealing with Tej was informative from the start and a level of professionalism that I had not experience from a law firm before. without just feeling like another case and another number for the firm wanting to just take the argument for the money, I was rightly informed from the go and not sold a dream of what the outcome would be with this person on my side. (which is a quality I haven't experienced in a solicitor before). on the day the professionalism and personal touch was above and beyond. Conducted seamlessly in the court room and advice after the day was superb. Hands down the best approachable and proactive firm I've have ever had to deal with. (have dealt with multiple firms and over £300k of solicitor bills in the last 10 years) I can say that, I will not be looking anywhere else for my advice in the future. 10/10

Using Birkett long was definitely the right decision, both only did they get the right outcome they ensured all matters were dealt with promptly and in a professional manner. Living overseas was a major concern for myself but I felt the whole time everything was dealt with professionally and there was clear communication at all times.
Sian and the team ensured that the transfer of the property and negotiations were kept as agreed.
Elliott and his team were able to negotiate with a third party an outcome which met my expectations I had previously tried other options with no success.
Once funds were obtained from the third party I received these very quickly.

The Estate of Irene Rattenbury

Nichola has recently assisted me with the probate process for my late mother Irene Rattenbury. During what could have been a worrying and emotional time, Nichola provided me with excellent service in helping me understand the probate process, the documents necessary for the application and making the application for me, resulting in a very swift grant of probate. Thank you so much Nichola.

In the last eight years Birkett Long have prepared Lasting Power of Attorney applications, prepared the Wills for both of my parents, sadly no longer with us, conducted the conveyancing for the sale of my mother's house and now assisted with probate. I have always found their service to be excellent and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We have used Alison Bear at Birkett Long for all of our conveyancing and have always been extremely happy with her work. In our most recent sale / purchase which was at no point straight forward she was nothing short of brilliant, she kept us updated, responded to various third parties extremely quickly at what must have been an incredibly busy time for solicitors with the stamp duty holiday deadline. A few months ago I was contacted by Birkett Long asking me if I wished to review our joint wills. I put it off, hoping we could have a normal Christmas first. That didn't happen! I then went back to them and was invited to talk to David Feakins, a solicitor in the practice. As instructed by Boris the office was closed but David made all the arrangements to have Microsoft Teams meeting for my wife and I.
I think we all worry about how much it will cost to go to law but David made it quite clear up front how much the various options would cost and the fact that he wasn't charging by the minute for his time on line.
We now have two wills which I think will give the best deal for our beneficiaries and hopefully avoid swallowing up the whole estate in care home costs.
Incidentally he also gave me some free advice about LPAs which will save me a few bob!
