When we first consider a claim, our assessment is necessarily based on the information available at that stage. As a claim progresses, further evidence is obtained, including medical and other relevant evidence, and this can unfortunately change our assessment of the prospects of success. Where we ultimately conclude that there are insufficient prospects to continue, we have a professional obligation to advise our client accordingly, however disappointing that advice may be. We are sorry that you felt communication could have been better during this process. We appreciate your feedback and will take this into account as we continue to improve the service we provide to our clients.
