Our life has changed immensely for the better now that our daughter has been granted a special school placement. Whereas before there was no hope we can look towards a brighter future - our daughter now able to access education and her mental health is improving every day. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Samantha and Trudi's help in this matter, I don't know where we would have been without them! Samantha was so patient with us and seemed to genuinely understand the issues we faced. She offered a lot of practical advice and was there with us every step of the way during this long and horrible process. She has given us our lives back as our daughter is thriving both in and out of school. I only wish we had contacted her sooner.

If you are looking for an outstanding education solicitor look no further than Samantha Trowbridge at Richard Nelsons Solicitors (and her assistant Trudi Salmon) . Navigating the SEN and EHCP system is a minefield and mentally exhausting to the point where you feel broken. Samantha managed to balance brilliant legal strategy with profound empathy, it was as if she was fighting for her own child. She made us feel like we were a team, and she was the captain. When we thought there was no way we could get a favourable outcome, she never gave up the fight, even though we thought we were losing, she gave us hope, and that is what we held on to. She made us feel seen and supported every step of the way. Her (and Trudi's ) communication and support was beyond excellent, and she successfully won our case. I cannot thank her enough for securing an amazing education for my grandson in a specialist school. He now has a chance to be the best he can be and a happy school life. Louise O'Driscoll was amazing in helping me throughout a fitness-to-practice case with my university. Good morning, this feedback is for Louise (Louise O’Driscoll/ F0348-1-6/ 11615). Louise has offered her guidance and advice for the school appeal of my daughter. We were successful and delighted with the outcome. However independently from the outcome, I can honestly say that Louise is knowledgeable about the school appeal process. Louise has patiently guided me through the process, and how to: (1) best present the personal circumstances of our case; (2) challenge the evidence provided by the school for not admitting my daughter. As a working mum and fully committed solicitor, she is swamped, but she always promptly returned my calls and e-mails. I am very fortunate to have met and been offered her services. Having been involved with a University Non-Academic Misconduct Process, Richard Nelson LLP was contacted. The support offered by the soliciter was amazing. I first made contact with Richard Nelson via a google research. My specialty is swimming Instructor. After searching through many DBS specialists I came across Richard Nelson, thankfully! Their reviews from past clients and speaking to the administrator over the phone made my decision to use them as my representation I was appointed Mark who from start to finish was professional, down to earth and most of all reassuring with what the process entails and how we were going to respond. The all process was completed in a timely and organised manner by Mark allowing plenty time to process, amend then submit the application I really can’t thank Richard Nelson as a company and most importantly Mark as my assigned DBS specialist solicitor Highly recommended!

A family member got into difficulties. I didn't have a regular solicitor to hand and was advised not to use local companies anyway so, I started browsing the internet. Where to start? I came across Richard Nelson LLP in Nottingham and sent in a very basic outline of the matter - this was on a Sunday afternoon. First thing Monday morning I received a very kind and understanding response from Lily Nutbrown. I felt immediately that she was a genuine and caring person. She called me a little later and after a 10 minute conversation, I knew I was in good hands. Lily's attention to detail is brilliant. Her responses are always timely and very reassuring. The whole episode was a tense and anxious time for my family but, throughout it, we were able to draw comfort and solace from the support given to us by Lily. When the Court date arrived our anxiety levels peaked but, the Barrister appointed through Lily did a great job and a fair outcome was achieved. I just cannot thank Lily enough for her help.

I cannot recommend Marjorie Creek and Richard Nelson LLP highly enough. As a lawyer myself it was interesting for me to see things from the other side. I did not expect to be in a position to need the advice I required but was so relieved to find Steve Roberts - an extremely competent, calm and personable solicitor who put me at my ease within minutes of speaking to him. I am so glad I instructed someone else instead of dealing with the case myself- his written response was extremely succinct and well put. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
