In January this year I purchased a car from a dealership. The car did not meet satisfactory standards and the dealership was refusing me my consumer rights under the 30 day right to return. I contacted Pepperells and was quickly provided with an appointment with Leah Kelly (Associate Solicitor). Leah was amazing, she listened carefully, and understood my situation. Leah issued a Letter Before Action to the dealership, unfortunately, they didn't respond. However, Leah and her colleague Selin (Trainee Solicitor) did not give up and managed to arrange a meeting with the dealership to rectify the situation. The meeting was a success and I now have a new car I am happy with. I would highly recommend Pepperells Solicitors. Both Leah and Selin provided great service. I am extremely grateful for their assistance.

Tom had to jump in on a meeting with me as the lady I was originally meant to see wasn’t available. He had already looked through my case and let me explain in my own words more detail into the background. He gave me great advice and was honest rather than just telling me what I might of wanted to hear. He took on the first step of helping me and got a positive result for me within days. He managed to make a situation I had been stressed about for months sorted in a couple days. I can’t thank him enough for taking this off my plate!

Outstanding service from Daniel, our solicitor whilst purchasing our first home. Daniel was so patient with us, explained our options clearly and the initial quote for legal services was the same throughout. Jodie was also amazing and so helpful with any queries we had. We met Stephen Orridge & Holly Davis for an introductory 1hr chat in Pepperell’s Hull office. We may have crept over that "boundary" by ten minutes. When we left we had a little chat and shared our thoughts. Both Holly & Stephen were kind and friendly. We noticed that Holly took plenty of notes. We both felt that Stephen had a friendly straight talking, professional and bubbly personality. He listened and rapidly understood and contextualised the information we gave him. We concluded after only one hour that Stephen was honest, trustworthy, and meticulous. We were left with no reservations. Thank you Holly, thank you Stephen.

Booked in with a solicitor- someone rang a few hours before our first appointment to say she had gone home due to her child being sent home poorly-fair enough, we have young children ourselves so we really understood. Our next meeting was then booked in with the solicitor directly (via phonecall), we needed to be seen on the 20th due to us going away on the 21st. On the 19th we received a phonecall asking if we could move our appointment-we again explained our situation and that we couldn't be flexible. We received a second phonecall an hour later saying it would have to be fine-then a third phonecall asking us again to move it. At this point I asked what the problem was with our appointment time and we were told 'well, it's just her only appointment that day so she wants to work from home really, but she booked it in directly with you so she will have to come in. It will be fine'.. On the 20th, hours before our appointment, I was left a voicemail saying our appointment had been cancelled as the solicitor had conveniently rang in sick! So unprofessional, I do not recommend at all.
I apologize on behalf of everyone at Elmhirst Parker. Please know that your situation was an exception. As you can see on other reviews, we are known for taking ownership and caring deeply about our customers. We can’t fix the past but you have my personal commitment to improve the way our staff serves every customer. Until then, please accept my sincerest apologies on behalf of everyone on the team.

Paige was great throughout the whole process , regardless of how many time I asked the same thing I got a pleasant fast response. No legal Jargon just down to earth honest answers. She got my sale and purchase through in less than 4 months considering UK average for a straight purchase no chain is 4 months I cannot complain 100% would use her and the service again.

I received some good advice regarding a dispute with my neighbours. You have to pay for your appointment upfront but it was well worth it.

Do not use this firm , let me down and lied so many times , felt like I was doing there job for them . Very unprofessional and not very nice to clients I had to get the legal ombudsman involved
