35 yrs of buying and selling houses, this one was the worst. Our transaction was un necessarily complex due to the sellers attitude. Sarah and her team (a nod to Amy) were relentless in pursuing our demands and would not waiver on any point. Sarah had my back at all times and was kind polite and above all professional. It goes without saying I will follow Sarah at Elliott Mather again.

Having our original solicitors go into administration over night after 5 months into the process of selling our home and buying our new home is practically unheard of and needless to say extremely stressful. We researched local firms with an office we could visit in our area and recognised the firm name immediately as they have an office in the centre if town. I have to say, that both Shelly, the conveyancer and Sally were outstanding. From start to finish we were kept informed and the sale and purchase went through in a few months. It was so lovely to meet Shelly in person which is a rareity in this day and age. I would definitely recommend this firm to friends and family looking to sell/buy a home. A huge thank to both ladies who were so professional and empathetic to our situation

We have recently purchased and sold a property after instructing Carmen. And I can honestly say she was efficient, responsive and gave attention to detail! Our purchase process may have been a little long winded, however, she made sure that no corners were cut and we were going to be safe and secure. Communication throughout was fantastic. As a first time buyer I didn’t know what to expect which made me nervous. I was updated by assistants at the firm regularly who made things clear and despite having no clue what things meant, were patient with me and explained everything in ways I could understand so i wasn’t overwhelmed. This gesture alone made me feel a lot calmer. I’d have to make a special mention about Leah as on the initial paperwork I received, I noticed she wasn’t down as on the team and if that is the case then she did an amazing job at jumping in to help me with any questions I had despite her saying she was still training. Our purchase was complicated when our original solicitors went into administration 5 months into us selling our house and buying our new home. We researched firms with offices within our area and saw Elliot Mather and recognised the name immediately. I have to say the they did not disappoint. Shelly and Sally were absolutely amazing and from start to finish, we were kept updated at each stage. We could phone the office, leave a message and receive a call back to discuss anything relating to the process. Having had our initial solicitors shut down overnight was very distressing but Elliot Mather were quite simply outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure our sake, and our purchase went through without issue.
